Recall 23v-840 Replacing Cell Block Module on High Voltage Battery

I just had my battery replaced (cell 6 dead). It took a few weeks to get the battery from Germany and then a few days to hook up. I think this will become faster as more batteries are stored here. My 2020 was running but getting the big red warning and dying once in a while. Now I’ve replaced my...

New Charger-related recall (for the 240 V cable) (NHTSA ID 23V-841)

I just ordered the Emporia Level 2 EV charger (EVSE) based on input from “the best chargers” website. We’ll see. In removing my Porsche charger my electrician noted that the Nema 240 wall plug had some discoloration although the Porsche unit looked fine. The wall plug was new and installed for...

Electrical System Error - 11 failed battery modules in 2021 Taycan under 10K miles

One question to all - are the dealers providing good loaner cars durimg those times the cars are under repair. I currently have a 2024 Macan that I can use until the Taycan is repaired.

New Charger-related recall (for the 240 V cable) (NHTSA ID 23V-841)

I guess it depends on the relationship you have with your dealer. Porsche Redwood City is mine and great support always. I trust them. In fact someone came in behind me from another dealership saying they did t trust their dealer but wanted PRC to work on their car!

New Charger-related recall (for the 240 V cable) (NHTSA ID 23V-841)

I got the same notice in the mail. They did say to contact Porsche for recommendations on what chargers you should buy and they’ll reimburse you up to $600.

Is this what I think it is? Electrical system error

This has happened to me twice...once while parked in the city a few weeks ago, and then recently in my garage...waited 15 minutes or so, and the car did reset/reboot. But I took it in yesterday to the dealer anyway for quick review and they're also going to do some additional updates that I...

    Electrically warning

So I got the big red circle and took the 2020 4S in. Seems there are also some 5 or 6 adjustments in addition to checking out why the red brick occurred. Looking forward to see what they come up with.

    Electrical system error

I had this yesterday!. My wife elected to stay in the car while I went into the doctor's office for a bit. As I walked away I locked the car with my remote - to make sure she was safe. When I came back, this was on my dash. Wow! It wouldn't start/operate (yes the radio worked) so I...
