Cell #6 dead. Whole New battery ordered. Let’s hope they figure this out. I’ve not heard Tesla having this problem. Anyone?

One question to all - are the dealers providing good loaner cars durimg those times the cars are under repair. I currently have a 2024 Macan that I can use until the Taycan is repaired.

Not 12 volt but dealer tech says cell #6 is kaput and asking Germany what to do - replace cell or while damned battery!!!

I guess it depends on the relationship you have with your dealer. Porsche Redwood City is mine and great support always. I trust them. In fact someone came in behind me from another dealership saying they did t trust their dealer but wanted PRC to work on their car!

I got the same notice in the mail. They did say to contact Porsche for recommendations on what chargers you should buy and they’ll reimburse you up to $600.

So I got the big red circle and took the 2020 4S in. Seems there are also some 5 or 6 adjustments in addition to checking out why the red brick occurred. Looking forward to see what they come up with.
