Mine expired a while ago - weirdly I can still precool/heat (didn’t think this was meant to happen).
Most annoying thing though is I can’t tell how much charge I have via the app since it expired. Very annoying!
You’d think this would be base functionality and not something you’d have to pay...
Update: I left the OPC on 8th Aug having advised them, politely, that I expected the work to be completed under warranty. I said I'd looked on forums and numerous other people had experienced a similar issue and were not charged for the repairs. I highlighted it appeared to be a design fault...
I've just been hit with this (I think it's the same) - 'fault codes stored for both radiator and condenser fans blocked - require replacement fans as fans being blocked and not operating, does not provide adequate cooling to components'
They want £3700 and say its not covered under warranty...
Same thing happened to me, 2020 Turbo.
Used Porsche Assistance and got the car back today after two weeks.
The invoice covered under warranty was £10k!
This happens to me all the time, really annoys me, seems like the only way to get smooth braking is to keep the pedal moving steadily. If you let off just a little bit it seems to lose all braking and then suddenly kicks in right at the end, which then feels like a big jolt.
I was hoping this...
Firstly, apologies as I haven't read all 45 pages of the the thread, so this might have already been answered, but since the update my comfort access only opens the side of the car I approach, not all four doors. This is really annoying with getting the kids in etc.
The other side doesn't pop...
My PCM crashes very other time I drive it which is really annoying. Other than that, fantastic car to spend time in, cruise with the family and thrash when I’m on my own. Plus launch control
My PCM just randomly turns itself off and reboots. Seems to happen almost every other time I drive for no apparent reason.
Great car, underwhelming tech
Wish soft close doors were an option, after living with one for a few months I find myself re-closing the doors 50% of the time. The kids can never do it, they are seriously heavy
They will keep the 911 as an ICE for as long as possible, every other car in the range will go electric, so you’ll still be able to scratch that itch in a few years if you feel you need to.
Newer ones don’t sound like like the old ones anyway, so get a 991.1 in a few years’ time if you still...
