  1. Charging nightmare

Me, I don’t care whose fault it is. Porsche is a systems integrator. If something closely associated with their vehicle, like their official charging network, doesn’t work it’s Porsche’s responsibility to fix it. We got to Palm Springs, and went to the dealer there. They did some software...
  2. Charging nightmare

Oh yes, if they can’t fix it, they’ve got a Lemon Law problem on their hands.
  3. Charging nightmare

Oh, I forget: we only got one key! Yup. Most expensive car I ever bought only came with one key. Dealer has no idea when the second key will come in.
  4. Charging nightmare

You didn’t get the wireless charger! We didn’t get the electric steering wheel adjuster, or the power charge door ports. But they threw in rear seat seat heaters - which we’ll use a lot since we live in Phoenix, AZ. I don’t blame the dealer. My guess is this is a big deep in the software. I...
  5. Charging nightmare

New car. First time I used Electrify America, I had trouble getting the car to connect. 32 minute call with EA. Second time now, at an EA station in the middle of nowhere, it will not connect. Forget it. No way. Two different chsrgers, each rebooted twice and the car still refuses to connect. EA...
  6. Porsche (or PCNA) deleted my car and my account, and customer support is worthless. How do I fix this?

Wait til you call roadside assistance. You know those irritating bank voice recognition systems? Porsche bought one that some bank had rejected because it was losing them customers. Horrific is too kind a word here.
  7. Have I made the right choices? (Too much time to think whilst waiting)

Yes, get rear wheel steering. Taycans are bigger than you think, and the extra maneuverability is great. Also, the sensation of the car turning around its center instead of around its front end is quite nice - adds to the go-cart feel of the car. Well worth the stupid price. Look at...
  8. Satin Black Taycan Cross Turismo

If they have any sense at all, it's a wrap. These kinds of paints don't necessarily age well, so it's best (and way cheaper!) to wrap it. It's lowered - by using the air suspension!
  9. Had an interesting chat with some dudes from Lucid test team

Silly engineer - you can go to the mall in Scottsdale, AZ and see a Lucid interior. And I think they have other shopping mall locations. Car is sitting there with the doors open, though they won't let you sit in it. The interior is very nicely done, though I won't go as far as to call it...
