The issue is related to the hazard warning lamp auto activation that needed to be reprogram. It was considered an stop sale. All cars in ports and dealers were waiting for this update since early October.

Cool!! if you already has the car with you it will be taking it back if needed once the software is available. As you mentioned, you probably do not need it. I believe the recall database should be updated by now.
My understanding is that Porsche does not have the solution for the Hazard Warning Light recall as of yet. Where are you getting the new motor, US or Germany?
Thanks for sharing the info about the recall. Based on what it says, the hazard warning light auto-activate without an imminent collision. It makes more sense. Unfortunately it is not clear in the document when the reprograming is set to occur. Hopefully soon!!!

Very cool!!. I was also hoping an OTA update for this issue with the Hazard Warning Lamp instead of waiting for it physically at ports or dealers. I am still not convince this should be labeled as an ACM1 code. Let's hope for a fix this week.
