  1. Remote Climate Function – This function cannot be currently executed. Please try again or contact Porsche Centre

Yeah, most car companies are bad at this but Porsche is stands out. Still, better than our land rover… i really wish the car would connect to my home wifi in the garage, the cell signal is so bad it takes forever to connect, when it actually succeeds.
  2. Dual climate display change

Yup, this did the trick. Weird. 14k miles and the first time I’ve encountered it. And no obvious way to get it back into that state
  3. Dual climate display change

Has anyone else noticed that when you go into Sync mode, it still displays both passenger and driver climate controls now? before, when in Sync mode, it only showed one temperature control. When you went out of Sync mode, it showed both so you can change independently now it always shows...

In the same boat. worked for a few days last week then just stopped, despite getting a ‘green dot’ connection from the app and other things updating. and today it started working again. Seems like a server/service error, not a car thing
  5. BT/CarPlay connection suddenly faster

Glad it’s not just me and not a fluke. It was one of the few annoyances I’ve had living with the car as a daily.
  6. BT/CarPlay connection suddenly faster

Yeah it was often faster in the afternoon, but not always. Now it seems consistently faster even in morning
  7. BT/CarPlay connection suddenly faster

I’ve had a 22 4S CT for just over a year now and one of the more annoying aspects is the indeterminant amount of time it would take my phone to connect to the car. sometimes it was fast, sometimes it would take a minute or 2 to finally connect and launch CarPlay. About 3-4 weeks ago, it’s now...
  8. Appear to be B Pillar rattles

I find if bang the b pillar and the top of the drivers side door (where it meets bottom of window) the rattling goes away for a while. It’s not consistent enough to take in
  9. Radar Detector - Hardwire Fuse Box

anyone try a windshield mount at the bottom center of laying on the dash a bit? front of car drops off quite a bit seems like that should also work? maybe not with insulated glass i suppose
  10. Air Suspension - Frequent air release noise

I hear it too on my CT. Sounds like a big exhale, from rear passenger side. Happens a lot tho, while driving down the road in places where it shouldn’t nec be going up and down. Weird
  11. Funny little things that drive me crazy | diva safe zone

i came here for this. what the heck porsche - how can you mess up the center console like this? Its just really awkward and hard to open while seated, and the fact that it won't stay open is just dumbfounding. do miss soft close doors.
  12. Porsche Connect App - Windows showing open

The My Porsche app does this too. Seems to default to showing the car unlocked and windows open. Once it connects, it corrects itself. “Unintelligent defaults”
  13. Chalk or Carrara White

I was on the fence too. Really glad i went with chalk, feels a bit more special. White seems pedestrian and “normal” and chalk seems to stand out especially with black trim sorry for poor lighting
  14. [SOLVED 09.07.2022, Europe] Porsche Connect Network Problems [3rd UPDATE!]

I did the 12v battery disconnect for 5 min, and when it came back on the LTE icon was there. Let it sit locked for a bit (hour maybe) and now it works!
  15. [SOLVED 09.07.2022, Europe] Porsche Connect Network Problems [3rd UPDATE!]

its dead everywhere. those symbols with cross-through are always there now, no matter where i am. i've tried rebooting, no dice.
  16. [SOLVED 09.07.2022, Europe] Porsche Connect Network Problems [3rd UPDATE!]

my car recently stopped updating the servers. it basically has no data connection anymore. the icons on the dash seem to indicate it lost its ability to use the LTE modem - before on top, after on the bottom.
  17. SmartLift Software Bug - Porsche Investigating

mine, too, is intermittent. no real discernable pattern. I did at one point delete the one by my house so i could recreate it further away (give it more time to lift). I'm also a Porsche Austin customer but they can't have my car to troubleshoot :)
  18. Nits and frustrations + some fun options

Yeah i can’t quite figure out the pattern. Probably isn’t one. Oh well, it’s better than no smart lift at all like the e-tron GT
  19. Nits and frustrations + some fun options

So, first the obligatory “i love this car and driving it makes me happy!”. But.. there are some things that are pretty frustrating. Some are “Porsche things”, as i understand it. There’s no reason they can’t build an amazing car that also solves these problems, although i fully expect a fair...
  20. Auto Regen vs Off

I’m surprised how much i like auto regen. I love coasting but it’s nice that it knows not to just coast right up to the car in front of you. All in all it’s smart enough to behave exactly as you would expect it to, especially if you watch the little triangle on the left ‘tube’.
