Nice! Could you share how you were able to get it fixed?
I just decided to schedule a dealership visit, but if there's something I can do at home, I'd rather do that.
I experimented a bit to try and figure out the root cause. At first I suspected carplay and tried disconnecting my phone. It seemed to work at first, but stopped eventually.
It seems like the car is able to connect to LTE when the car first starts, but drops the connection after I start driving...
Hi all, has anyone had issues with the Google maps search in the navigation not working recently? It seems to be unreliable lately and works on-and-off, possibly related to location and LTE signal strength.
Whether or not the car was sold with the promise of matrix headlights, Porsche has an opportunity to gain goodwill by enabling it for current purchasers, even if it requires a dealer visit to recode. It's not a make or break issue for me personally, but would positively affect my future car...
Do these work with PCCB? I too am thinking of getting a set of these for winter tires on a Turbo S CT. These sport aero wheels look good while being reasonably economical. I'm assuming yes since you can spec these as winter tires on the standard sedan Turbo S.
Not an audiophile by any means, but I used to daily drive a pair of SRH-1540 which are a great pair of headphones. I splurged for the BM and it's really good. It's super crisp across the range - no muddy bass or treble. Soundstage is great though it does bias forward as you'd expect in a car...
10.5k at OCDetail for full PPF + ceramic. Supposedly the Turbo S is more 1k expensive since they wrap all the gloss black and carbon bits. Car is still in the shop.
After lots of hemming and hawing, I went ahead and bought a NOS Tesla Gen 2 charger off fleabay. $650 seems like a steal compared to any of the other options, as long as it works 🥶. I already have the 80A Teslatap mini so I'll just use that until I decide whether I want to change out the plug...
Now the question is, how does Clippercreek justify a $2200 price tag when the Tesla 80A charger is a quarter of the price. 25’ of 3-3-3-5 SER would only be $300. If the EVSE really is just a pass-through, the CS-100 is including an awful lot of markup.
Can you use the tesla tap adapter for superchargers?
I’ve had nothing but good luck with EA, so don’t feel compelled to use tesla, but always nice to have options.
Tesla chargers are discontinued, you can only buy second hand ones.
