I think it's not new batteries, it's motor decoupling for all 22 models they were talking about: https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/porsche/taycan/355840/2022-porsche-taycan-updated-more-range-and-added-tech
Guys, sorry for a noob question, but do I need a Porsche Mobile Charger Connect in order to start preconditioning vehicle remotely? Or I can do that if it's connected to any charger/wall box whatsoever?
It's almost 18% difference in battery size to be exact, and that's a lot. The cost of it is pennies, comparing to the cost of the car. Firs option I would tick, even 5 times the amount, skipping all other options if possible, and I live in a super small country :) It's not most efficient EV in...
Inno-drive is a rip off, a total waste of money. I have exact same thing on Q7, with no extra $, came as standard with no extra "name", but it's a total shit. Stopping wherever it wants, showing traffic signs which does not exist.... the idea is pretty good, but even google maps or waze cant...
I would gladly add 4 more performance batteries, for 20k extra lol :D The only thing I don't like about Taycan is that pitiful range you get for 100k+. I wish they could deliver Lucid, or Model S range...
double digit discount, as long as you lend it as a DEMO car for 3 months or 8000km, whichever comes first ;) However, you have to spec some things for better "impression" for test drivers, for me it was comfort entry, matrix leds, pano roof, some other stuff i cant remember. Of course it's...
Agree. Porsche knows how to make money from extras to dam well. I fell for an advertisement saying like "look, a Taycan Cross Turismo starts from 90k+", then I started to configure and found out that the base Taycan actually starts from 110k+, because they skipped many essential stuff, including...
Actually the Taycan beat Tesla, then the Tesla brought a Modified, not for sale version of Plaid, just for this purpose. Does not qualify as beating in my opinion :)
I think it depends on the options. Some beauty options definitely should be skipped on base cars, but I would never save money on safety options, on any model, as it's your and others LIFE that's on stake. One slip and you or others are gone... So if you drive on snow? Trade PTV+ and rear axle...
There are some "must-have" options for which people often look, like keyless entry, for Porsche drivers - sport chrono package, etc, but most people, when buying a used car, will look at make, year and model, color, so other options will depreciate much more in value by percentage in any model...
Your answer, especially EQS part is completely unrelated. The question was about the build, for +- same price, the answer was to. In my opinion, on how I personally drive, and my personal preferences, CT4 with options is way better then CT4S without it. It will looks 100% exactly the same, it...
For me, a head up display is such a distraction in any car, i cant just not look at it, instead of looking on the road. It completely duplicates the dashboards information, and a dashboard in a Taycan is a masterpiece. It sits in such perfect height, few centimeters lower than actual Heads up...
I went for CT4 with more options instead of 4S. Final price, a 10k more expensive then yours. Do you need that extra 1s to a 100, instead of having rear axel steering (a different car for me), PTV plus (more dynamic around corners and extra safety on slippery roads, like winter), would not skip...
It's TRUE! I just came from Porche center, ordering my new Taycan CT, they said that they just came from a racing event, where they were doing some racing laps. Two Taycans came a little bit short with range so they just kept going, one came to finish with decent speed with 0 battery left and 20...
