Wow, that car looks so good! I have seen some used Taycans around the bay area and they are usually listed above the original MSRP.
I am getting a Taycan GTS ST. Still have not decided the color but black is back on my list.
I am already on a wait list now, but good to know, thanks. I did not expect Porsche Stevens Creek to offer them at MSRP.
BTW, welcome to the forum Nagoowan!
I hope such styling changes soon after launch will not be significant for the GTS models. My worry is on the battery technology side. The electric car technology is improving rapidly. In the near future there will be improvements in battery and electric motor technology that may leave the...
Yeah I asked some dealers about this. The ones who answered said no, it cannot be done. But you are right, I should talk to a tech person about this.
Good to know you have steering feedback with RAS+PSP on your Taycan. Yeah I am on the look out for cars with PSP to test drive.
Yeah good old days of heavy steering. Good workout for the biceps :)
I asked this question to the local dealers but they have not responded or they said it is not possible. Right now my build excludes RAS. I have been torn between wanting better turning circle & handling RAS adds and not...
I have been doing a lot of reading and watching reviews of Porsche cars. I also had another thread regarding the steering feel (feedback) on Taycans here. I came to the conclusion PSP is not for me, but I'd like to have RAS. Problem is RAS comes bundled with PSP. So I wonder if it would be...
I agree we need to stop shutting people down and try to respectfully express an alternative argument to theirs to seed some doubts in their minds hopefully such that their critical thinking will do the rest. But I would not let off FB and Fox news lightly. They are guilty of peddling lies and...
I did not get the steering feedback I expected. Steering is very precise but it felt light and little road feedback. But I only spent a total of about 20 minutes (on two occasions) driving the car so my experience with the Taycan 4S is very limited. I have not driven many EVs but I expect Taycan...
I think the battery pack has temperature control (as long as there is enough power for the temp controller). I suspect that is one of the reasons to keep the battery level in a safe band (20% to 50%, I think). The problem exists for all lithium-ion batteries. I cannot imagine Taycan's battery is...
I am talking about steering feedback.
Hmm, so the steering feedback is better without PSP?
992 has hydraulic steering right? So if Taycan is not far behind the 992 than I am good. I may need to adjust my steering feedback gauge calibration.
I see so it is a software feature. I guess it changes the power steering boost mapping. Nice that you can try it before buying it! And yes it should be standard (like a lot of others).
I see your point. Best steering feel I have right now is with my BMW 330CI. Our other BMWs don't have that steering feel (even in sports modes) because they have electric steering vs the 330Ci's hydraulic steering.
