For what it is worth. I did not have to pay anything. The electrical heater was replaced on warranty, a software update for the heater was done and I got a loaner car for free.
Got the car back. Faulty device replaced. Hot air flowing :)
Simply excellent service. Less than 48 hours after reporting the fault, the car has been repaired and returned.
Got an appointment already this afternoon and can pick up the car tomorrow lunch time. A quick repair. Guess they got the faulty part on stock.
Got the new Cayenne as loaner. Comfy and nice, but no match for the Taycan. Miss it already.
Very nice :like:
I drove back from Stuttgart to Zürich this afternoon. We visited the Porsche Museum yesterday. Anyway, I had the chance to get the Turbo Cross Turismo to stretch its legs. It goes so quick and feels so planted on the road. Super stable! I had a couple of BMW M and Mercedes AMG...
I have used the IONITY chargers a few times in Switzerland, latest this afternoon while coming back from Germany, and I never experienced an issue. They are bloody quick, we went in for an ice cream and when back it was fully charged to 85% :like:
The app is working again. Took one of the boys to ice hockey training in the morning and after the short drive the app showed all functions. Must have been a synchronization issue between vehicle - server - app affecting only some functions, but not all.
Good. Mine not :(
Charging is complete, although I did not get a push notification. The km has updated in the app, but most features are missing as before. On the second screen it says that the battery cannot be measured.
It is not connectivity, but I suspect a data corruption on Porsche’s...
Thanks for the tip. Yes, I do have connection, both from the app and from the car. The km distance is updating in the app as the car is currently charging…
Hi,
A different take on the “cannot connect remotely to the car” that many people here, including myself, have experienced: the app is connecting, but most functions are missing. E.g. charging, lock status, etc. I cannot enter the charging and profiles parts of the app, they are simply not...
Happened to me today too. I hope it is resolved when unlocking the car again. I noticed the info in the app is not correct. The battery level is lower in the car than in the app, the car is charging but the app does not display this and it says the driver door is open.
Sorry to hear. I too got caught overtaking 72km/h on a 50km/h limit road in Switzerland (I had missed the sign and thought it was still 80km/h limit). License gone 3 months and a four figure total fine. I always stay within the limits and have little sympathy for people speeding… BUT I do not...
Thanks! I set up multiple home location charging profiles, “Standby” at 50%, “Charged” at 85% and “Full” at 100%. With the idea that I could simply switch between profiles depending on use.
The location of the car does not seem to have any impact.
The Taycan has got the same carrier as as the ID.3 and they are standing next to each other in the carport. Yet, one is a lot quicker responding to the app... and it is not the Taycan ;)
Don't you have issues when, for example...
Super happy with my Taycan. One year into ownership and it is such a blast to drive.
I agree with the design of the center console, it is a non-functional mess. A dimple on the unlock button would be nice too. Opened the frunk too many times.
What really annoys me is the Connect app. It is...
