I'll repost what I did in the December thread. If you'd like to track your car, the best bet is to follow the instructions below to extract the IMO number for the vessel that is carrying your car.
On tracking your vehicle, here's a summary of how to do it:
Once your car has reached Stage 8...
Does anyone have a photo of where the emergency release is for the frunk & trunk on a Sport Turismo (or even Cross Turismo)? Funny enough, I cannot find it in the owners manual.
Thanks!
Thanks folks. I went with the Tesla Mobile Connector + Teslatap Mini 80A.
Not sure how the dealer will handle two receipts for the reimbursement but hopefully it's a non-issue. Unfortunately, the after-sales support so far with the Porsche dealer has been an unpleasant reminder of what my GT3...
Hey folks,
With the current mobile charger being recalled, what's agreed upon best option for a mobile charger to keep in the car? Dealer is going to credit $750 for a charger.
Additional updates: Detail + PPF is going well. I also plan to get the Thinkware U3000 Front & Rear dashcam + Thinkware iVolt Extra installed after the PPF is complete. Then it'll be fully commissioned for use by the family.
As a funny side note, the dealer did a great job overall with the...
Congratulations to everyone receiving their Taycans this month!
I finally received mine yesterday evening. I had a great experience working with @ssim (Thank you!!) through the ordering process, and with Porsche Downtown Los Angeles on the deal. The car came exactly as specced, and the process...
I had that issue with TYD via the app as well, but when I used a web browser to login to the Porsche website to look at TYD, it 'worked.' That said the TYD location of the vessel carrying the car was incorrect starting with the point that it left Emden.
My car seems to have made it out of SD a lot faster than the dealer expected. Salesperson is not yet confirming if he sees that it's actually on its way by truck from San Diego port to LA. (Weird purchasing experience quirk that I know more about the state of the car than the dealer, but ok!)...
Do you have the IMO number?
If not check this link for a post I made earlier in this thread.

Alright, good morning! Some good news for anyone who had a US West Coast car on Crystal Ray. It looks like cars destined for San Diego port have been offloaded, and the vessel is underway again towards Korea.
TYD coincidentally updated that we've moved to the next stage that the car has arrived...
😂
It looks like Crystal Ray is underway again, and as I thought might happen, it is now finally headed to San Diego.
It's such an interesting outcome given that TYD has been saying the car is in San Diego for the past 10 days after a straight shot from Panama to San Diego.
Meanwhile...
As of this evening, it looks like I was right. Crystal Ray arrives in Benecia likely late tonight. It doesn't appear to have stopped in San Diego.
Perhaps the next port is San Diego. I wonder if any type of backup of queue at San Diego could have resulted in a change of their route plan.
Apologies for the confusion.
Up to now, all the stops that I've seen the vessel take (via MarineTraffic monitoring the IMO number, rather than TYD) have shown up as part of its route forecast. It went form Emden to Netherlands to Florida to Panama to Ecuador. After each port, the route...
Confirmed. It cleared Panama just a day prior to that post. The strange thing is TYD says the car should be going to San Diego then to my dealer in LA. Instead, the route forecast says it's headed to Benicia.
If it is, in fact, headed to Benicia instead of San Diego, that would be shame as it...
