Hi. I had the same. My new Taycan GTS arrived at the dealership with a faulty heater on 25.11.22. I was due to collect on 2.12.22 and received call on 30.11.22 to let me know of issue.
I finally collected the car on 21.1.23. The dealer and Porsche UK very helpful and recognised the issues and...
the answer is no one can give you that. I collected my new Taycan GTS on 21 Jan 2023 and haven’t managed more than 200 on 100%. I know a friend who collected his ST GTS a week before mine and he’s getting 220 on 100%. Our driving characteristics and journeys are similar.
200% disagree with this comment. Each to their own but I wouldn’t be without it. It’s a very dark place otherwise in the cabin.
i Also wouldn’t have HUD as the digital cockpit is so good - this from someone who has had HUD in all previous cars.
Thanks
thanks. I don’t but into philosophy that you have to tick every option - Just what’s right for you. On reflection I would have chosen differently and it will help with future Porsche orders being much more focussed on options!
Firstly congratulations on getting an earlier allocation. I collected my Taycan Saloon GTS on 21 January 2023.
in terms of your spec, it’s brilliant. I personally would take out the laminated/insulated glass. The car is super quiet and the extra cost of this option isn’t justified in my...
All the posts resonate with me. I’ve worked hard all my life and always wanted to own a Porsche from my mid 20s. Finally managed it at 51 with my brand new Taycan GTS which I collected on 21 January 2023.
i have a 911 on order, due for delivery hopefully end of 2024.
in the meanwhile, enjoy...
understand. But there is also a big market of Porsche drivers who love the external look, driving characteristics and GTS name without going for Race Tex. I spent quite a lot of time talking / researching before deciding. I usually buy a new car every 6-12 months and have done for 25 years plus...
I’d definitely go for GTS as residual values are better and likely to be more desirable given it’s the sweet spot of the Taycan range. The extra features alone make it special over a 4S but off course it’s personal preference.
I wouldn’t go for 22kw.
I have a saloon and love it. It has...
Great article in todays guardian about Taycan heating issues.

Hi. I did same and didn’t order from my local dealer in West Yorkshire and instead went further afield. I’d take out Head up Display. Collected my Taycan GTS a few weeks ago and I wish I hadn’t paid for HUD as not needed given the digital cockpit is so good.
hi.
if I could go back I wouldn’t have HUD, Massage seats, rear climate control etc.
I can see attraction of massage seats but I ticked it thinking it would be great (which it is) but I’ve used them once so far!
hey. All the Taycan’s are great so you will enjoy it.
I spent time debating 4S v GTS and went for GTS as the price difference was £7k. I’d added so much spec to the 4S!
I’m told GTS cars are more in demand (there are fewer of them built compared to 4S and Standard).
totally agree. I collected my new Taycan GTS a few weeks ago. Still only 13 in whole country for saloons and 5 ST GTS.
where the prices are dropping fast are for Turbo and Turbo S. most cancelled orders also are higher models or 4S. I know as my friend was offered numerous 4S build slots by...
