See my post right after the one quoted. Got my check on the 29th on the first delivery attempt.
Saw it on the FedEx app the day before — it was a cryptic “Shipping Returns” as the sender, coming out of Dallas, TX.
Following up for the benefit of the larger group --
I just received my check this am via FedEx overnight. It didn't come in a regular FedEx envelope. It was in full page size paper envelope from JP Morgan Chase Bank.
So, submitted on 2/22 and received on 3/29.
Purchased a Tesla Universal...
I was there as well. Light on Porsche content, but just right for the general audience of South by. Here are some pics (first two are of the Macan). The rest are what they are. (Sorry, didn't take any of the Taycan!).
Wife didn't even notice the facelift on the Taycan. She was also...
I have one of these. I really like it. High quality. Just works. Don’t use the app. But I got it on discount (Amazon lightning sale) — it was otherwise quite expensive for what it is.
I have six EVSE’s — an old school Enel Juicebox, a new Enel Juicebox, a Tesla UMC, a Rivian mobile charger and...
Had it. Hated it after a while. Can’t really use windshield wipers without scratching the material. Or you have to baby it. Not the same as PPF for rest of car. And to remove it costs hundreds of dollars too.
It’s good for a garage queen. But daily driver? Probably not.
Even my installer...
This is my local dealer and they are one of the nicest I’ve had the pleasure of patronizing both in facilities and staff.
it makes a difference. And, they’re going to be on the short list of dealers I speak with regarding my next one.
Love so much about this car but here are the things driving it that do annoy me. Take this list in context — it’s indicative of how little there is to hate IMO:
(1) I can’t have the reverse camera on and still activate the garage door opener at the same time. Why can’t I have regular homelink...
Honestly, the Taycan is a big car. Really long and though I have RWS, I liken it more to a lowered, car-like SUV. The GTI, Model 3 and 911 are all much smaller in that regard.
As long as you’re ok with that, which no amount of RWS can change, then it’s great.
I find with Porsche driving...
Thanks for the review. Now if we can only convince Elon to bring out a 40 amp NEMA 14-50 version of this like they used to have, but with the J1772.
IMO, if that ever happened, the competition would really start to take notice.
EDIT: Just saw post #22. Nice potential solution!
I’d give PDR a try first and then rock chip touch up like Dr Colorchip. At a minimum, if you can’t live with the paint touch up, you’ve at least eliminated the bodywork or minimized the body filler the paint shop will use. (And you’ve already got PDR coverage anyhow!)
Best of luck and let us...
Has anyone else gotten a promo from Porsche re 15% off purchases of lifetime FoD until the end of quarter? Anyone planning on taking advantage of it? Code to get the discount is FALL.
I didn’t order it and my passengers don’t miss it. The car is small enough inside it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
I did order the rear heated seats and thought that was a better purchase.
We have both. RAS. You’ll notice it a great deal more since it’s always on. And as others have said can make a big car feel small.
Massage seats only in the 10 min intervals when you use it.
