MY 22 RWD, the goat started to come around 2k miles. I brought the car in for the alarm fix (WNB4), and also checked for this issue. The dealer told me the goat is a pretty frequent complaint of the car, "you're definitely not the first". Ran some test and they said everything is normal.
Does anyone know if there's any dealers in the US, particularly North California area perform the alarm fix? I took my car in today for the WNA5 upgrade (Porsche Redwood city), and the service manager told me they have not received any updates from Porsche NA. This looks quite different to...
My car (MY22 RWD) ran into exactly the same issue today. I was under very low speed (<5 mph) in the line to drop off my son at school when the car suddenly jerked into a stop. I noticed it was switched to P so switched back to D. Shortly after that when I was trying to leave the car switched...
Yes I just discovered this has been covered in this post: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/did-you-know-you-had-hooks-in-your-trunk.1954/
I think it's a part of the storage package in the options.
I remember somewhere in the manual it said the range is lower for first 500 miles, especially since regenerative brake may not be enables (to fully open up the brake pad). Maybe there were just some fine tunes in the software.
Meanwhile, maybe the weather also influenced the range?
I finally found the plug and charge option in PCM... It's in Home -> Charging -> the 3 dots on the right bottom of the screen, then you'll see the plug and charge option.
The good thing is plug and charge worked for me like a charm! Tried it out at the Stanford Mall EA charging station, just...
Something may have been covered in some discussions:
Locking: from the manual it's said that press the door handle sensor twice (in 2s) would also lock and disable interior alarm, it actually works. This helps to avoid alarms running off. I also enabled the beeping feedback on locking. Then...
Probably software issue. The hardware of this car appears to be good, but the software definitely needs some time to mature. Most of the small glitches (running alarm, Connect log in, carplay) appear to be software related. Unfortunately this is an area new to most auto makers.
Cool, they're pretty helpful on my case, but a little short of hands due to COVID.
For the heater, I set the vent mode to diffused, and could definitely feed the cold air on my feet.
I just checked my car, I don't have the plug and charge option in PCM either. Maybe a "feature" for MY22?
OK my car is back from the dealer. It's one day earlier than expected, probably because it keeps bothering them with the alarms (ran off 5 times on their lot in one night). The heater issue has been fixed, as the dealer fixed the "additional coolant pump" that was previously broken. I totally...
Did you use the wireless CarPlay, or the wired? I used the wireless one and the switch was pretty smooth, just click the device icon on the right side of PCM and switch between bluetooth/carplay.
I got it from Porsche Redwood City. The dealer is helpful but apparently there's not much they can do.
I don't have any impression on the plug and charge option in the PCM either, maybe I just overlooked it.
Hello everyone! I just have my Taycan delivered by the end of 2021. The dealers worked really hard to get as many Taycans out as possible (to avoid dramas on the $7500 US tax credit). I was really excited and enjoyed driving the car! However, in 2 days I discovered some issues...
1. For my car...
