Im in canada and I use an a2z ev adapter. They are a quebec based company and the quality of the unit is fantastic. I agree the other adapters are very expensive once you ship it up from the usa
If it is possible, always remove your dashcam before taking it into service. I have a fitcamx and it's easy to install and remove, since it is plug and play and located entirely in the rear view mirror housing. I always assume Porsche would invalidate the warranty for any reason, just to be a dick.
A good ceramic coating will go a long way to delay the dirt covering up the rear, but it's really just a common thing about hatchback style vehicles. every one ive ever had has the same problem; mdx, golf, a4 avant, etc.
I dont mean to yuck anyone's yum, but to me I prefer the skytrain sound of the electric sport sound compared to the exhaust burble of those aftermarket systems. Although, I must say after having the car for a bit I usually do not use the sport sound at all. I'm more of a music guy. I also...
I cancelled my service appointment as there was now nothing to troubleshoot. The car has been working fine since it's little freak out, so its a little weird
Well I can now announce I am a member of this exclusive club. For me, I got the error consistently for a month. I could only get into the camera if I put the car in reverse. I booked a service appointment for today, which clearly scared the car straight because two days ago the error resolved...
I have a theory. The euro glass is concave and has a wider view angle than the flat mirror we get in NA. People know this; so there is an aftermarket for the euro mirror glass in NA. I'm sorry to say that your mirrors might show up on ebay and get shipped across the pond
I have a GTS ST daily and I had a 4S sedan as a loaner while it was in the shop for 2 months. So, I have recent seat time between the two suspension setups. My wife and I both agree that the GTS is firmer. We both prefer the ride of the GTS. In normal mode, there was one area on the highway...
The big takeaway I took from this video is that the cooling system has hundreds of potential failure points. So many clamps, hoses, connectors, etc. These cars are going to be constantly leaking coolant when those coolant hoses reaches the end of their life. For those planning to keep their...
I really enjoyed the video for that long look under the taycan. Hard to get that view otherwise... The dealer wont let me dick around in their shop and I dont have a lift at home!
Concerning. I'm seeing two main coolant lines, with their plastic splitter, embedded in an area that appears to be inaccessible without dropping the batteries and possibly cutting off the cover. It appears that there is a bead of sealant around the open area which would imply those are...
During the winter, I stick an old 120v electric oil heater in my two car garage to take the edge off. Not too expensive to run if you keep it at a low power level. It wont make it toasty in there, but helps
I drove the Plaid up the Crest just after having come down in our above-$200,000 winner, the Taycan Turbo S and the contrast couldn't be more sharp...
The Tesla Model S Has Lived Long Enough to See Itself Become a Villain (msn.com)
So not to rain on your parade, but are you sure you need park assist? I have park assist on my car. It's not that good! It might even be bad? I have used it a handful of times. I do not trust it at all! It's extremely slow. Once you learn the dimensions of the car it's easier and faster to just...
On my GTS, I did not option coated brakes for reasons aligned to the general discussion points here. The Taycan uses regen in most road driving conditions, so it is an unnecessary cost.
However my GTS is in the shop and I am driving a 4s loaner which has optioned the coated brakes. I must say I...
