Curious if anyone else has seen this news? Can anyone verify or perhaps someone across the pond has used one with their non-Tesla EV?
If so, what was the experience like? How was pricing?
I think EA in the US will be hard to beat in terms of power/charge time but it would still be nice...
Completed my trip and everything seems to be doing well! Love the car and I’m very happy. I did notice some condensation on the inside of one of the head lights so I’ll need to keep an eye on that. Albeit it’s snowing and 35 in Denver and was power washing bugs off with warm water…
Well. Finally picked up the car today. I can say it was every bit waiting for so far. Racked up about 400 miles today heading home and roughly the same tomorrow. Still figuring out the settings and such but it’s amazing. EA fast charging works without issue too. It turns a lot of heads. First...
Elon mentioned a few days ago that the Tesla network here in the US will be opening. Monthly membership gets close to Tesla pricing otherwise it will be a larger cost w/out membership. I would bet the UK wouldn’t be too far behind.
Car wheel was damaged loading onto the truck. Dealer trying to have them still send it and they’ll deal with it; rather than the port. Should have another update this afternoon
If mine doesn’t arrive this week (waiting on truck transport apparently) I think I’m bailing. I’d also like a nice truck for mountain biking and camping. But going from paying for no gas to a ton of gas seems hilariously stupid.
I just got a reply from my SA. Apparently they’re holding all CTs until they all get fixed. Mine is fixed and just waiting. I informed him we know of at least one that got out from Houston. Ugh. Maybe next week
Update from SA this morning. Still waiting on a truck. Apparently there were a lot of vehicles at the Houston port waiting for the “fix”. Rep at port is hopefully it’ll get out this week.
