Yes.. ofcourse.. only when you are at 10% SOC or lower do you notice a serious drop in performance..
BTW : I notice that between 80-100% Soc the degradation seems to ‘reside’. After charging to 100% the range drops fairly quick.. much quicker than when new. below 50% Soc I can still achieve the...
Haha.. for me the answer is : NO
I ve owned a Macan, Panamera, still own a Tesla Model S and a Taycan..
Model S is a vastly different car than the Taycan.
I actually prefer the Model S ( when speeds stay below 120-130kph) for fast drives the Taycan.
While the driving dynamics of the model
s...
LOL that seems ludicrous and bad development… I know for a fact that the battery gets cooled and/or heated to get best charging speeds. If the battery gets too hot the charging will slow down.. if the battery gets too hot will driving the power will be reduced to cool down the battery.. so...
Actually it has been tested that around 160-180kph is the best cruising speed for EV’s, permitted there are enough fast chargers around and the car in question can charge at high speeds.
you could drive at 90kph but the driving time would double and charging from 10-80% takes only 20 mins...
I don’t think it matters too much.. battery degradation will occur no matter what.. even when the car is never charged..
my model S has almost exclusively been supercharged for 100.000 miles and still have only lost 15% after 4 years.. last two years maybe 1% each year..
Taycan on the other...
Strange those waiting time in the US of A . For perspective : I placed an order in February this year and in may ( same year ) my build was already finished 😱
OT : today it was warm outside and was charging at 11kw ( deliver to car 10.2kw ) but the weird thing is there was a fan going.. I guess...
can anyone explain to me why they charge you almost 0,5 euro's per minute fast charging with the Porsche card ?? Ionity seems the only exception.
I understand a price per kWh.. it makes sense to do it this way.. but also a fee per minute ? LOL
I kinda regret not getting the Bose (the base audio is so so bad) and I also regret not getting ACC.. but I still have a Model S with an awesome audio system and autopilot..
I'd say spec as you want, but what you don't spec.. you can never ever add!
Suppose it also depends on how long you want...
You must have a very very special car.. I don’t get less than 23kwh/100km.. this is around 360km of range , not 540 as in your example.. the latter would mean 15kwh/100km.
something I have only achieve with my model S at a constant 70kph
I have the base audio and can confirm it sucks. Nowhere as good as the model s..
On the other hand there are no rattles in the taycan so I enjoy the silence 👍
Currently have a 2018 model S and a 2022 Taycan ST.
what I like about the model S : it’s just an appliance to get me from A to B.. I don’t care if the kids make it dirty inside, if there s a dent or some damage..In 4 years the car has been washed 4-5 times.. BUT it’s the best car I ve ever...
They should have added paddles for regen..
1 pull is 70kw regen another pull is 140kw and the last pull 300kw.. something like this..
if you touch the accelerator it cancels the regen…. Would have been awesome
They couldn’t fix it.. so now they are waiting on instructions from Germany..
Meanwhile I have a car with a constant-loud—almost-like-an-overheated-laptop-fan-noise. Just great.
why would they even put a fan in the instrument cluster ?? Talk about bad engineering.
the software in general is...
been waiting in the dealer for two hours already 🤦♂️
I guess they have really no f**** clue as to how they could fix it.
Let me just say I had serveral Porsches before without any issue, but this.. heck I had at least a few months with the model s before it needed fixing 😂
so today I took delivery of a Taycan Sport Turismo..
All seems well except there is a noise coming from the instrument cluster.. like an old pc fan doing overtime or a laptop fan when the laptop is running crazy hot.. the fan is doing overtime.. I have the NWS PCM ( 6.0 )
I included a...
