  1. Power Steering Plus

absolutely- i like heavier steering generally, but the upgrade to Plus transformed the car
  2. 40K Service Brake Pads

    Mine were 10% worn after 18k km/ 2 years
  3. Struggling to understand Taycan regen brakes

I disagree regarding Auto regen (which is activated by holding the regen steering wheel button down for a few seconds) - although I have active cruise control available, I use auto regen regularly and find it very intuitive. it controls relative speed and space to other vehicles very well...
  4. Broken heater - there was an error during preheating / cooling

Had this recently, and mine has been diagnosed with a faulty servo- this prevents air from getting in, hence foggy windows. Workaround from dealer whilst waiting for the part is to activate air recirculation- this will heat/ clear windows. I open a window slightly too to let fresh air in.
  5. Preheating error from MyPorsche app

I got this error this week-activated privacy mode in the car, then deactivated it again- can now access remote functions
  6. Porsche surface coated brakes with white calipers

They are mandatory when Mission-E's are selected. Look great though
  7. Judder from tyres when cold

My wife's BMW 840d X-Drive on 20's does the same thing- just minimize lock when the tyres are cold
  8. whiney and humming sound

My RWD does this- whines when under load- either acceleration or regeneration- up to approx 50-60kmh. It is silent when coasting. The 4wd cars use the front motor at low speed for drive / regen, so no loads on the rear motor, hence no noise. FWIW I think the on-off throttle response of the RWD...
  9. Anyone upgraded brakes/brake feel? Too soft!

my '22 with PSCB was exactly the same, and very disconcerting when coming from nearly any other car- my wife refused to drive it. The dealer took it for a few days, and made a significant improvement, but that was May, so the PSM update will hopefully help it further
  10. GTS Sport Turismo review after 10000 km

Totally agree about the privacy glass ( and the Mission-Es)
  11. The 18 way seats are killing me!

I find (similar to other sports seats)that they work best if you back off all the adjustments ( lumber, bolster etc), then just add a bit of under thigh support
  12. “Electric” Logo on doors

I left them on and delighted I did - colour picks up on the silver in the centre badges and the rims- public like it too, generally people are unaware but fascinated that’s it’s an EV. Mind you, I’ve yet to see another with it.
  13. Audiotec Fischer upgrade for standard sound system

thats great - when do you plan to have the work done? I'm assuming your installer will need to build an enclosure to hold the subs in place?
  14. Audiotec Fischer upgrade for standard sound system

This upgrade is mentioned several times on the forum as an excellent plug-and-play option for the standard sound, adding the Audiotec Fischer Match amp and Subwoofer(s) to the standard Head unit and speakers via dedicated cabling adapter loom. With no cable cutting and 100% reversible, its an...
  15. BOSE Delays

The standard system is shockingly bad, and I've been looking for something like this for a year- can you share some more details, such as which subwoofer you chose, and where you mounted it? Also, where did you mount the amp itself, and what is the source/ routing of the power supply for it?
  16. Audio upgrade for base sound system

I'm keen to learn more about the improvement in experience.
