Thanks again to Willy for the awesome solution. I was using the Thule crossbar + Yakima Highroad roof rack since last November when I got the car. Not the best solution, but works fine with me. Road bike is light & easy enough, but MTB would be a little harder even on a 25lbs lightweight...

I’m in the 2nd batch group buy. ;) I’m giving it a try and see. Cos I bike weekly, but with the rear rack, it won’t fit inside the garage. Means I’ll have to assemble and disassemble the rack every time…. So I’m going to give it a try and see.

I'm using a Thule crossbars (factory one is forever backorder) with the Yakima rack. Works great and easy to load/unload. No wheels off needed.

I'm currently using a Thule roof bar with a Yakima bike roof. So you sure can carry 3 bikes (4 max) at a time if needed with this rear bar setup. ;)

Since we probably not too far away to each other, if you've done it (shorter bar and 1 rack), I would like to check it out as I only need a single bike rack too. :) Gary

IMO the Thule crossbars is better than OEM, lower profile, rubber straps that won't scratch the roof rails.

Will you able to do a single rack version instead of two?

For the Thule 9585B, there seems to have different sizes. What size would fit the CrossTurismo? Thanks!

Do you mind to send us the purchase link as I still couldn't find it on the Thule US site and there's no words on the factory crossbar neither (ordered since Oct 21').
