Yeah we were getting lowballed on the saloon at low £90k's, they all wanted the CT.
The irony is the saloon sold the day it was advertised at £115K and the CT is still for sale.
We used the CT to push up the asking price of the saloon they went as a package for the pair fir a price We simply wouldn't have got selling them individually.
I bought the S6 because I'm not a fan of the RS6. I'm not overly keen on any of the AMG products either, they are too compromised with hard rides and restrictive on how I could spec them new. Try ordering a £100K AMG without privacy glass, in the UK you can't (unless you're Chris Harris it...
The Taycan was a unique proposition, We didn't need them as such but the tax situation for Ltd companies made it a no brainer to buy them. It didn't work out for either of the cars, but we got out very lightly indeed so it didn't turn into a disaster. If there had been anything approaching a...
They paid £117,500 which was 7.5K over list. So their margin is circa £10k +vat which isn't unreasonable all things considered.
The reality was we got £222,500 for both cars it was only when the settlement payments were made did we get the breakdown per vehicle. (the other was a 6 month old 4s...
Sold ours today back to the dealer from whom we purchased them.
We put them out for bids to all the usual suspects and OPC's were bidding far higher than the independant specialists.
Also when you sell you actually get to see the real picture with many of the cars being advertised for "overs"...

I've had no confidence at all with this Repairer from the day the car was inspected by them. I tried to have it taken elsewhere but was blocked.
It'll now be sold, I have zero interest in keeping this car and despite my concerns it appears Porsche are still supporting this particular outfit...
Car being collected again so they fit the wheel they have waiting to go on it. Turns out they forgot to fit it.
Gives me great confidence wondering what else they forgot.
I've had a couple of owners state similar stories. The work to my car is absurd and I've lodged a formal complaint with the insurers and with Porsche, neither of which will likely go anywhere. Its the principal though.
It is what it is now for both our cars. (Both are currently off the road)...
The dealers can refurb wheels. The irony is though in the UK at least that dealers are not Porsche Approved Repairers (PAR's).
PARS are not allowed to refurb wheels on direct instruction for Porsche Germany.
Welcome to the whacky world of Porsche Ownership.
It's unlikely we'll replace them. We already have a couple of EV Mazda run arounds that work so well it's a part of the reason we've decided to sell the Taycans. They just didn't work out for us at all.
The upside is it looks like it's cost us nothing / very little to find that out.
It'll be two months next week since this incident occurred. Still don't have the car back.
No parts delay, it appears only one tech at each Porsche Approved Repairer is trained/qualified to work on Taycans. So you go in a queue. Let's hope he doesn't get covid.
So much "weight" is carried by these customer satisfaction surveys that it's frankly absurd.
Our Salesman was very transparent about the survey and explained what would happen should anything be scored other than a prefect 10.
Delivery days, cars arriving without options, cars arriving with...
I had a bit of a problem with the 21" wheels as follows:-
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/4s-ct-ownership-didnt-get-off-to-a-good-start.9988/
It was a replacement for an Audi S6 Avant which I drove for nearly 5 years, lost a couple of tyres in that time to pot holes and such (to far higher impacts than I had in the Porsche) but never had an incident of this nature.
There really is nothing that I'm currently interested in replacing it...
