Posting in case others have this issue.
Had no connection for a week or so which annoyed my daughter more than anyone as I couldn't pre-heat the car.
When I got into the car with my phone the LTE service went from no connection to connected.
Fixed by turning my phone off and starting -...
can't see other posts about this - got this goofy error message just now. am guessing the parking break is not functioning. car works just fine so am assuming the issue is that the parking brake is not going on.
anyone had the same?
I'm definitely on the "drive it like you stole it" end of the spectrum.
Currently showing 210 miles for a full charge (have battery plus).
Anyone got lower?
given that current conditions in the UK make a boat a legitimate alternative to a car, was wondering what the max wading depth of a taycan is?
spotted this in youtube. as Imagined, I guess EVs are a way more solid bet vs ICE in such conditions
anyone notice that when dabbing brakes within a few seconds that the position of the biting point moves slightly down the travel of the pedal? have regular brakes. Brakes always work fine but there is a split second where I get a sensation of brake failure.
As many have already noted, the UK charging infrastructure is pants. Not a massive issue for me currently as with just over 10k miles logged, I've only charged away from home or workplace 6 times.
Just did a trip from home (Northampton) to Manchester and back. NCP carpark had EO chargers that...
went to wipe off road grime off the rear camera and noticed a stalk next to it. Brain immediately went to - maybe they have a washer for it. Sure enough - hit reverse and then rear wash wipe to be greeted by a rear camera screen getting jet washed. Nice! Didn't know it was a thing.
When driving I don't need telling this by some half arsed piece of code that flashes up a very bright and distracting warning that's especially off-putting when "making progress" at night. Possible to switch this off?
Is this just another eg of Porsche not including stuff that you get as standard on low to mid priced cars?
Figured this light must be a blind spot warning light but it doesn't seem to work. Was it something on the spec list where Porsche were inviting me to bend over and adopt the position...
ok. I give up. How do you make it so that spotify does not override the radio on startup? I rarely use spotify but every time I get in, it defaults to spotify. Am on android - turned it off as a background app on there but the taycan is determined that I must have spotify on and not the radio.
I have the Taycan Turbo Aero Wheels on my 4s ST. On the fence about getting them painted black. But on the configurator for the GTS - think they do look better. Am guessing they are the same wheel painted in satin black with different centre caps.
Took me a little while to warm to it. Having had a Alfa Giulia QV, it felt ponderous and less nimble.
But a week in. Got back in the QV to give it a run before putting it up for sale. No regrets. My 4s has the 4 wheel steer and whatever they call the torque vectoring. Alfa felt pretty...
SWMBO's Volvo XC60 gives a handy little "bong" and pops up a warning symbol on the dash anytime it's approaching one of the UK's multitude of fixed camera locations.
Possible to do the same on a Taycan? Mine is a 22 model 4s.
