My theory is that Porsche needs to create a better working culture to attract more talented software engineers. The alternatives are way too many and too good, and engineers choose the jobs where it’s best to work at. I don’t have any other explanation. This is absolutely bad software.
Just happened to me too today. All updated 4S Cross Turismo. Left it charging, gonna check back in 30 min. App shows charging error and wrong battery percentage, but car is green and charging. Weird.
I drive like a maniac and my consumption is 29kW/100km after 8000km. On an average temp. of 4C. Real world range 285km approx. we will see in the summer. I bought a Porsche not a Dacia so I drive it like one.
I get exactly the same. But I don’t baby the car. I drive it like a Porsche. I am also in Germany now so doing 180-200 km/h quite often. Weeeeeee…
You can technically get 19.7kW/100km under good conditions if you drive it in a boring way.
Oh ok I see. Thanks for taking the effort to explain. I live in Europe and have a 2022 equipped with 22kW AC on-board, so I guess that explains my confusion.
It is stupid. I was also surprised to see that I can’t see the car and rotate it 360 degrees like I thought I would. Despite having “Surround View”. Why that comes only with Park Assist makes no sense to me.
Somebody explains this to me because I don’t get it. I have the 22kW charger equipped. I can charge with 20kW or more. How is this better? What’s so “new” about it?
It’s also quite badly phrased. It’s not a charger that reduces the charging time, it’s just a more powerful charger.
I love this feature! It is so cozy inside! Do use it! In winter, it even warms up the big battery to give it a longer lasting life and an optimal operating temperature (10-30C) for the best consumption and driving experience. Trust Porsche. Features are there to use them, not to break your car.
Happened to me too. I asked a friend who also has a Taycan and he also said that it happens on occasion but goes away after the car sits for 30 minutes locked. It went away for me too after I sat for 40 minutes charging at a pit stop.
This one is quite bad. Just as I was starting to like the...
Thanks @KensingtonPark ! I am going back on the 20th! I was a bit concerned about the corner close towards the front of the car. Since it didn't wrap around the edge, I was concerned that dust and air could result in raising, but you haven't even mentioned that one in your comments so I assume...
I got my PPF installed (XPEL), at a price that some would call professional (5.5k) I think.
I am yet to go back for the two week revision and touch up. Can you please share your thoughts and advice on which areas I should insist on? I noticed that the installer always tries to convince me that...
Coming back to report that the above is not true based on my experience. The timer starts as it should, but seems to plan to have the battery at 100% one hour or more ahead of the departure time, which is probably fine and is likely the better, safest option.
I tested this again on a very slow...
Can someone here please share good service experiences and/or recommendations in Austria and/or Germany? What is the best place to service your Taycan to make sure they do a good maintenance job?
