  1. No Remote Access via App

This issue seems to keep happening, where my Taycan would not connect to Porsche Connect services and app becomes useless for remote functions, so I did finally make a call to Porsche and escalated a ticket. They did get back with me and said it is a known issue on their end with the Taycan...
  2. The 18 way seats are killing me!

Sorry to hear about your seat comfort issues. I suspected this might be the case after trying both 14-way and 18-way variants on some test drives. While I do like the more aggressive bolstering on the 18-way, I did remember that feature being tiresome on longer drives on previous other-make...
  3. No Remote Access via App

Had this happen to my Taycan yesterday too. The app would have no remote access to car info and function etc despite having no problems with connectivity on the PCM's SIM card and no issues with internet, so I figured it must've been just a server issue on Porsche's end that would hopefully...
  4. Taycan Turbo vs Audi E-Tron S Prestige

Ah, that’s right! I do remember reading something about that a while back. Audi is refreshing the eTron suv and renaming it as the ”Q8 eTron“ to line up with the nomenclature of their other eTron models. It not only will have more efficient electric motors, but according to those stats the...
  5. Finger almost got crushed by the door handle

Happened to me before, but you don’t have to worry, it’s spring loaded so it won’t injure you or even leave a mark if you left your fingers in there. “Almost got crushed by the door handle” is quite the overreaction though! :) I suppose that if one had long manicured fingernails like some...
  6. Sport Sound Owners - Do You Use It Most of the Time?

It came standard in my Taycan, which I drive in Sport Plus mode nearly all the time, which means Sport Sound is also on nearly all the time. I really like it, and on the rare occasion I switch it to Range Mode or leave it in normal, the lack of sound just doesn‘t feel normal to me… like as if...
  7. Access Sport Sound amplifier / remove luggage trims

OP wants to turn it up to 11, obviously
  8. Fitcamx dashcam installation

Pressing the camera button takes a snap shot and saves it as a separate still image on the SD card. And I believe 20-sec long press of camera button resets the device to factory settings. Speaking of buttons, I'm assuming at some point they must have redesigned the FitcamX for the Taycan...
  9. GTS Interior vs Vented Seats

I also opted for ventilated and massage seats on my GTS. As much as I love the GTS racetex interior, ventilation and massage were worth sacrificing them for. Pure personal preference. I think if I were buying this car in my younger years, I'd have gone the other way.
  10. Did I get comfort access for free?

Yes, this has been discussed in a few other threads before. For 2023 models, 4S, RWD, and CT4 get manual steering column adjustment. while GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S have electric steering column adjustment as standard equipment.
  11. Price cuts?

Porsche will counter Tesla's price cuts with price INCREASES of their own! That is the Porsche way ;)
  12. 265/40/20 front and 305/35/20 rear Michelin PS 4S tires for stock 20” wheels?

The tires I would want (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S) are not available in the stock rear size 285/40/20, at least not in the US. So the sizing I suggested offers the most optimal rolling diameters and ratio of front to rear in staggered configuration widths, when compared to the 21" stock sizing.
  13. Heating Failure

Is there a running spreadsheet somewhere on this forum keeping track of forum members with heater failures and what year/model they have? I'd like to set one up myself but I have no clue how to do it. I certainly hope they are replacing these with improved/updated parts to prevent repeat...
  14. 265/40/20 front and 305/35/20 rear Michelin PS 4S tires for stock 20” wheels?

I think I’m ok with that look. As long as it fits and no rubbing issues.
  15. 265/40/20 front and 305/35/20 rear Michelin PS 4S tires for stock 20” wheels?

Has anyone mounted these on stock factory 20” wheels and experienced any issues? It’s basically the same width tires as mounted on the 21” wheel options but instead mounted on 20” wheels with the narrower rim width and slightly different offset. I’m considering ordering these tires on factory...
  16. Winter Wheels installed - Vossen HF4T + Pirelli Winter Scorpion tires. 20x11R 20x9F

Looks awesome! Gotta say... although they're only 20", I think they look way better than the Mission E wheels that came with the car, especially in all black. Just my opinion, of course. Perhaps if your Mission E were all black, I'd like them more. I know I'm probably in the minority for...
  17. Thank you Porsche for holiday gift!

Oh so it's a pen that's inside that mysterious box I received from Porsche! Been so hectic during the holidays that it was just thrown in a pile somewhere unopened and I forgot about it.
  18. Feedback Please - "Bare Essentials" Porsche Taycan

I’d say get the base premium package and call it a day. Nothing else. Only other essential add-on based on personal need and use case would be Performance battery (if you need added range), air suspension (more comfort and flexibility of adjustable ride height), and choice on wheel style.
  19. EA (Electrify America) Sucks - that is all

Well after a month of trying at local EA stations, and repeatedly failing to get both plug & charge and initiating via myPorsche app to work with my '23 Taycan, there has been a breakthrough! A Christmas miracle! lol. I visited the same EA stations where I had previous failures at 2...
