I've had several front-seat passengers over the past 22 months, and none of them were too interested in the display. Bit of a gimmick.
FWIW the passenger display is not a big driver for making the decision IMO.
Here's my chart where the latest data point is 18,273 miles on 20-March-2024. You can see how most of the light blue dots (above 15,000 miles) trend lower than the others above 80% SOC.
BTW it's very easy to trick the guess-o-meter on a nearly full charge. Turning the A/C off adds about 20...
Here's a link to cars.com with 449 new and used Taycan sedans at the 4S level and above in the USA. Add your own filters for further refinement. (I think you can also try autotrader.com, too.) Porsche's Performance Package isn't a filter, so you'll need to read details of individual listings...
I've been using EA about twice a month on my 2022 RWD for nearly two years and have only used the EA app once. Porsche's "Plug and Charge" did the rest.
In mid-April in the Sonoran desert here in Arizona USA, the palo verde trees erupt with flowers. The beauty is short-lived, however. In a couple of weeks, billions of small yellow petals will coat the ground and the streets.
(Palo means pole and verde means green in Spanish. And yes, these...
Same thing happened to me (locked brakes + beeping + collision warning on dash) while making an unprotected left turn. My 2022 RWD must have thought I was turning too soon. Fortunately, nobody was behind me.
From now on I'll keep a little distance if I'm behind someone in a left turn lane in...
My 2022 RWD is at 18,600 miles, and yesterday the PCM displayed a message about replacing the cabin air filter (yeah, Arizona USA air is pretty dusty). My 20k service is already scheduled for early June when my wife is out of town and I won't need a loaner.
Yep, don't fall for it. The Taycan's first service is at two years.
My sales rep said Porsche's non-EVs need service at one year (just like my wife's Audi ICE SUV), so you probably just got a blanket email from your dealer sent by someone who didn't know to exclude Taycans.
FWIW the Continental website says the ProContact RX tires (I have 20" with an H rating on my 2022 RWD) have a warranty much longer than 20,000 miles. Did you take advantage of that in your purchase?
I'm thinking about switching to Hankook when my tires wear out. Please keep us posted...

The issue with the claim came down to cost. The damage to the vehicle was extensive and included having to replace parts of its charging mechanism.
When brought to Porsche, the owner was told if he didn’t get the repairs done through one of their approved certified facilities...
Not for me. I don't drive enough on a daily basis to require charging so quickly at home. The nearest Level 3 charger is 10 minutes from home.
Lots of sun here in Arizona USA. I set my PMC+ to 50% (4.8 kW) and charge between 9 AM and 3 PM when the sun is overhead and my solar panels are...
Same here. One location if I approach my driveway from the east, and the other from the west. When I'm two driveways away on either side, I slow down to less than 20 mpg (30 kph) to engage the SmartLift.
