My volume is stuck on 1 and no music will play.
I've been trying this 2-finger reboot for 10 minutes and it's just giving me a 1-finger salute.
There has to be a better way??
Except the op is literally a Washington resident buying in IL and I posted information on, you know, Washington residents bringing in cars and the sales tax reciprocity that the seem to have with Illinois while you keep bringing up... California.
As if California nanny state laws have anything...
It further looks as if Washington has reciprocity with Illinois and an out of state resident isn't required to pay Illinois tax on vehicles purchased there.
Titling the vehicle in Illinois doesn't give residency in Illinois and those two should not be conflated.
I'm not an expert on this but...
No offense but California isn't relevant here. For Washington, the text says nothing about prior registration in another state.
Can you show you paid it prior to bringing it into Washington? Sounds like that's all they care about but that's a fairly cursory explaination.
Fwiw, here's the...
Am I the only one with these two opinions:
1. EV adoption would have been higher and less controversial had they dropped the green sh*t and just gone with "they're so much fun to drive".
2. When EV's are more common, there will be more accidents and ass-riding idiots because they're so damn...
1 more thing for valet mode. Disable my home address from nav.
It may not happen often but valets in South Florida have been known to get that address and give it to someone who ends up breaking in to your home while they know you are away.
Currently, I just use the address of my neighbor...
I should have worded it to say "if the valet mode did".
I just remember the first time I got in this car and it takes a minute to figure it all out.
It's so quiet that it REALLY needs include "vehicle is running" or "vehicle is not running".
I realize most valets would be able to figure it...
Wouldn't it be nice if Porsche had a valet mode on the Taycan that switched the cluster display over to a very simple layout with only drive mode (PRND), speed (limited with very neutered acceleration), and relevant large font instructions on the display?
Radio is turned off, lights...
Well, the Ioniq is hideous. I was behind one the other day and I wanted to rear end it on principle.
This one's really not bad looking. A little small?
Buy it, try it, if you don't like it after a couple months, flip it and buy something else. You should be able to make some money on it.
Aspark and Rimac already come pretty close. Certainly doesn't seem impossible for Bentley and I'm going to guess that Jag will have a similar offering when they re-launch.
Half a dozen times in the 3 weeks we've owned it. Live in Florida and we're outside a lot. It's an excellent place for the cooler.
Bonus points for the dry-ice smoke coming out when you lift your hood. More than one parking lot fool has assumed we were overheating. To be clear, they seem happy...
So, to be clear, he is wrong about every aspect of the vehicle because you don't see how anyone could want a frunk?
Interesting conclusion.
I've driven one and I agree with almost all of his opinions.
