Hi Adrian, last night I followed your suggestion and the charging to 85% worked flawless. Thanks! You’re the expert to consult 👍.
Last week I bought a Macan 4 that will be delivered beginning 2025. Hope you will be a source of information too 😁
Thanks Adrian, this is what I was looking for. Is it correct that on the second picture (Home - 85%) the minimum set is 25%? I’missing the red dot that indicates this, as is shown in my app.
Can you give a more elaborate answer Adrian? I’m having trouble too with the minimum charging and stopping at 85%. My provider of electricity suggested smart charging, but that was no succes. After removing everything in the app and the system of the provider, I’m struggling a bit with the right...
I use the Porsche leather conditioner now, because this has no gloss effect but keeps the leather mat (don’t know if that is the right word). How is that with this product? I saw I can order it in Germany.
I also had no connection between 13.00 and around 15.30. I thought that the car wasn’t charging but when I checked in the car it was. This wasn’t visible in the app, it showed me the status of yesterday. Right now the app works and shows the right charge.
On vacation in Kent (Eastbourne and Brighton) and the roads are dreadful. Potholes everywhere. With this rain from the last days you have to be extra careful, because you can’t distinguish a hole from a puddle. Constantly zigzagging and no time to look at the scenery. When you talk with the...
This sounds completely normal, I would sign for it. Until 50 km/h my car sounds like this too. At around 50 the humming begins. Electric Sport Sound, build in afterwards by the dealer, camouflages it a bit.
Thanks Tom. Indeed, I wrote two threads on the forum. However for me it’s a deep humming sound. Whining suggest that it’s higher?
Porsche Netherlands investigated it two times, but two times: nope… “The sound is noticed but it’s within the margins” was the answer of Porsche AG. Nonsense. What...
Tanks Bao1303! Perfect addition on the article that I posted.
This is what I meant with “Maybe our Norwegian drivers can help us”. So much better than just Google translate…
Hello all, I came upon a Norwegian test of the range of EV’s at -19 degrees. It looks as if the Taycan does this quite well with a loss of 11,84%. Maybe our Norwegian drivers can help us with the artical?

No, Porsche Netherlands says it’s a product feature. Read the beginning of this thread and why I started it (after the other one: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/deep-hum-between-50-70-km-u-16-23-mph.11825/post-177907)
So no warranty Adrian. And trust me, it is a problem.
Hi Max, to my knowledge the problem only occurs with the RWD cars. But I’m not 100 % sure, maybe after more km (mine started at about 5k) it could happen with the all wheel driven too. And not alle RWD‘s have this problem…
Perhaps try at least one other CT4 with comparable kilometers and listen...
Thanks! I think that’s just the motivation I need to have it installed. The fact that you can choose and that it then adds something and on other occasions explicit not, is just fine. Perfect way of describing it submatrix!
Thanks Omar for your quick reaction, good to hear that it’s programmable. Then the Sport Sound could be an option for me. I know it’s subjective, but what’s your user experience of the sound?
