I love my 22 Taycan GTS and for the first 9 months I had no issues at all....
Now it seems I am always getting the
RED circle warning....
Pull over to a safe place and exist the vehicle
This is literally the7th time I have gotten this message in the past 3 months
and I have to either plug it...
I am going overseas for a few years and want to store my GTS Taycan...
What should be done? I have searched and came up empty here on the forums
I do not want to sell it and to be honest not sure when I will every return.
My car might become one of those barn finds 30+ years from now
Bought my GTS in July...
On Wednesday I took my first relative long distance trip about 350 miles in all. From Peoria to Columbus...
Charged the car to 100% the night before, next day set the trip using Porsche Nav...
It have be making 3 charging stops.
The first one was only about 50 miles...
So at the dealer the other day and this other guy was checking out my GTS Taycan...he just bought a GT3 and had the dealership install a $25K new exhaust system. So my car having the Sport sound as I was leaving told him to hear mine...I put it in neutral thinking I could rev it like a ICE...
I have checked and could not find an answer...
I know that we should only charge to 85% unless we go on a road trip.
I basically only charge at home and wondering how far done do all of you go
before charging. I have been letting it go down to about 20% before doing a charge .

Went to a place that is 75 miles away and left with my car at 85% with 211 mile range. Figured I could make it there and back without charging. Almost all highway driving and when I got there had only 29% left....and getting an alert for a flat tire...checked the tire and nothing wrong. Looked...

A little background...I did a test drive on a Taycan 4S and loved it. I have a 2020 Macan Turbo that I love as well but really want to a change and think doing the EV route is a good thing. Right now I am living in Peoria IL and at the dealership they told me they had a build for a GTS coming in...
Look forward to learning all about the new Taycan here...and to be honest I am a little scarred and not sure I am making the right decision.
