Surprised at this, Octopus Intelligent is compatible with Zappi and Taycan. Signed up for this a couple of months back with no issues. Just need to set the Zappi to FAST mode during the initial car tests.
Glad you got it sorted, I had been using my Zappi to charge my previous car (Tesla) with no issues at all. I like to have the Zappi decide when to charge by leaving it on ECO Plus and setting a boost timer on it to use the cheaper rate electricity (Octopus Energy) from 00:30 - 04:30.
With the...
So finally picked up my car from the dealer yesterday! I guess it's an early xmas present to myself :)
First impressions after a 45 mile trip home in it is it feels really planted to drive. I had driven to the dealers in the loan Cayenne GTS so could compare the way the two drive and there...
Yup ditto with me, majorly peeved off that they took the payment, registered the car and then found the PDI issue. They should have found that out before asking for payment, encouraging me to activate the tracking package and arrange insurance.
I read somewhere else on the forum that apparently...
Agreed, I have a 69 plate Telsa 3 Performance and it's great in the summer but range drops considerably in winter. I have a 800 mile round trip to plymouth coming next week and although I prefer the comfort of the Cayenne estimated fuel bills for that journey is around £400...I'll be taking the...
So just to update on the drama of my delivery (photo of the car at the dealer in profile pic)
1. Initial Deposit April 2021 - to pre-reserve a slot for the at that time not announced GTS
2. Nov 2021 (ish) GTS announced....soon followed by ST in all variants - confirmed reservation on 4S ST
3...
That‘s the most annoying part! They said activate the PTS (about £279), use the 5 day drive away Porsche Insurance and took the full payment for the car…..and then on delivery day discover the PDI issue. They had the car for a full week before scheduled delivery day so I really think there’s no...
Luckily I still have my Tesla Model 3 but they did not even often a courtesy car. To make matters even worse they had earlier advised me to take the 5 day “drive away” insurance startling on 1st December and ending on 6th December which now will have expired before actually picking the car up...
I had exactly this on the day I was supposed to pick up my car (Yesterday). Pick up time was 5pm and they rang me around lunch time to break the bad news. What made it worse is earlier in the week they had informed me there were no active campaigns on the car and all was good to pick up…so of...
Hopefully @f1eng has had a better delivery day than I have.
Scheduled handover time was 5pm today, dealer rings me up at 11:50 to say there is a stop campaign on the car (something about coolant) which once they have the part is a day job to fit.
So now they have said the part will be in next...
Yeah agree, probably things have improved here. Mine were available on the app but have now gone since I added the car to the garage using the VIN.
@f1eng - also picking mine up 1st December now, they needed an extra day to apply the paint protection.
I think it's related to the Model Year of the build. It sounds like you have received a MY23 car where the prices increased compared to the MY22 cars regardless of delivery date.
For example, my car was built early July and is a MY22 but only arrived at the dealership last Wednesday. As it is...
Haha yes me too! It‘s been a long extended marathon wingeathon…all over in the next week. Fingers crossed thats the end of it and the car doesn’t have any gremlins.
Brilliant news, it seems like our cars were aligned with each other and of course both Mamba Green! With regard’s insurance they have a “drive away” free insurance that lasts 5 days. Pick up date for mine is Wednesday 30th, happy days!
It’s of course a personal decision, the 4S is pound for pound the best of the Taycan range when it comes to things like 0-60 times against base price of the car.
The spanner in the works is you currently have a CT as opposed to a ST. The ST is closer to the saloon in driving dynamics and of...
It's funny you mention this, just had the call I have been waiting an eternity for to say my car has arrived at the dealership and should be ready to pick up in a weeks time.
Whilst on the call GAP insurance was mentioned as something thoroughly recommended (of course I am well aware to say no...
