I don’t think this will work as surely it only checks for the fob if the car is switched on? If the car is locked and off, and movement is detected, an alert will be triggered, even if the driver recognition card is in the car. Worth testing though!
I think several of us have had say, one or two issues but it’s not the norm.
I’ve had my car since July 2023 and had the following issues:
Yellow and red electrical warning/circle of death.
New charge port on AC only side.
And the heater failure last week.
I had no errors but no heat was diagnosed as a new HV heater required on Monday morning and I was back in my car by yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. They prioritise Porsche Assist breakdowns partly due to the cost of the hire car. All the recalls were also done in that time!
Now resolved for me too. Picked up my car yesterday. Diagnosed on Monday morning and resolved by Wednesday so can’t complain. New HV heater fitted and recalls done too.
Strangely enough the app now shows that I need a main inspection although this is not due until July 2025 and also shows that...
I was getting no warm air in the cabin this morning. No errors on either the app when turning on pre-heat nor any on the car. It’s just blowing out cold air ?
It was built in April 2023 so I was hoping I have the updated heater. Will try again this evening and if not magically fixed will report...
Agree with W1NGE. When I charge at home with Ovo, the Direct Charge option is normally off so try with that off.
My (possibly incorrect) understanding is that Direct Charge bypasses any timers/profiles - including the Enode one sent by Ovo.
The loan car is a Porsche GB vehicle provided by Porsche Assistance.
My car is a July 23 GTS so seven months old. Salary sacrifice so not supplied by my local OPC. It completed build at the end of April 23 and is one of the ones delayed at the docks in Germany from May to July last year.
Update: some good news - I’m now in a delivery mileage loan 4S Sport Turismo whilst my GTS is awaiting diagnosis (logs sent for analysis). Should know more next week.
I started on Friday with a red Drive System Control fault but turning off and back on again, or leaving for 15/20 mins resolved.
I even drove into my OPC on Saturday morning who just said they would get the workshop to call me on Monday but it was bricked by Saturday lunchtime. The same red...
Thanks. That’s what happened initially from Enterprise as it was out of hours on a weekend. Porsche GB upgraded me to a Macan yesterday. I did see something about the fuel reclaim up to £200. Asked Porsche Assist but they claimed to have no knowledge. I’ll have to speak to Porsche GB again tomorrow.
