The advantage is a turning circle that’s smaller by about 2 ft (60 cm), so if that’s important to you and you have the funds go for it. I didn’t option it and am quite happy with how the car handles (w/ Power Steering Plus).
Can’t really comment on the 21” wheels as I have the 20s, but I’m glad...
I have PSP but not RAS and the steering honestly feels spot on. Don’t miss RAS at all, but also have never tried it. Could also be the fact that I’m coming from a car with a bigger turning radius than the Taycan.
As for the comfort access, I might try it through FoD one of these days.
Haven’t driven the GTS, but the 4S is so good that I’d think twice before going through with the order-wait process again (with the attendant uncertainty of whether the car will have a 12V battery, Bose/Burmester or whatever the key missing component in the future will be)
I’ve seen this too in my new ’23, both headlamps. A cursory forum search led me to believe it is normal. Maybe to do with taking it outdoors after being stored inside?
I got a bottle of champagne too, but not Porsche branded! I wonder if they brew it at the factory in Zuffenhausen? (No, I don’t know how champagne is made)
I feared malfunction, particularly during deep winter, so I de-specced the powered door… Although the drawback with the manual door is that it protrudes quite a bit when open.
The Sea-Dweller is a chunky boy. But at least you’d be getting a Rolex at retail. If it doesn’t fit your wrist I suppose you could flip it without taking a hit? Would buying the watch bump you up on a waitlist at the AD for a Sub?
So the high pressure water jets at the car wash haven’t made the film begin to peel off? I’m just having PPF installed and I’m new to this whole PPF game.
I would second this - the detriment to battery longevity will be negligible and far outweighed by the reduced risk of being stranded and having to call a tow truck.
Good thing your previous PM and chancellor’s plan didn’t go through, otherwise pedestrians would soon be charged for walking on the pavement to pay for it… ;)
And while you’re at it, figure out how to code the base PLDS+ headlights to have the matrix function for those of us who couldn’t spec them because of component shortages… Or maybe I’ll just duct tape a couple dozen of these on the hood and program a Raspberry Pi to operate them in a matrix...
