Not looking for a pointless discussion. Maybe you should take a trip over the pond and have a look... we don't have anywhere near as wide roads as you do and yes it's a real challenge sometimes with such a wide car. Maybe not everyone is as perfect a driver as you are.

If only you knew that most people in London don't have driveways and so have to park on the street - the street has high kerbs... we have width restictions with high kerbs to restrict traffic. Easy to say drive better when you don't know the environment.

Funny, we went to Krakow in September for a week and loved it!! (did go to zakopane etc though too).. I didn't think it seemed bad but apparently has a real polution problem in the city and the taxi driver said they are trying to move to EVs to combat it... didn't really see many EVs or charge...
