I found rwd has a good balance in terms of its size, heavy weight, comfort, and consumption. 5.1 seconds isn't bad it has achieved from static. Somewhere has to be sacrificed to make that balancing.
You might need a jet engine style in the American straight line traffic. My Taycan is more than enough for me here both on highways and city roads. It is much faster than my e-tron SUV.

I found preheat cabin and battery is more efficient than without preheat for my short journey. I have monitor these everyday.
Those stats are without AC...
Drive your Taycan as usual. This is not lightning fast charging compare to Taycan I. People need rest for longer journey and I don't mind to stop once or twice for resting. If you need to drive 500 miles in one journey (I don't) every week then you may disappointed not to get a Taycan II.
As I wrote before, there are lot of false internet images. We need to see and exam those images very carefully (ie lines, angles and light / shadows matching). They make those images easily in few clicks with AI tech.
I don't use normal mode on the motorway because sport / range mode have better stiffeness to our road surface here. Only use range mode set to 130kph (max) and sport mode. It might without any restriction in normal mode. I will try if I got a chance when the battery temp drop to 1 degree celsius.
My guess the battery is protected by software in cold weather. It would limit the power output to protect the battery health. I tried when the battery at 1 degree c. I could not reach 90 kph on the motorway in sport mode no matter how long I had floor it. The reason I need to preheat the cabin...
It is well documenation on this issue. I hope if the problem is from your 22kw on board charger and they can sort it out before your long trip! Good luck!
