Just chime in on this one - my 4S is currently with Porsche also and they have just told me today that some of the cells need replacing. The car needs to go to Teesside where they have a partner who is capable of carrying out such works... In a Macan right now but they have a Taycan loaner...
Soooo it's now my turn with the dreaded red ring... About a month ago the red ring came up, I left the car and locked it for a few minutes and it was fine - thought it'd just be a one time thing (wishful thinking, I know). Then two weeks ago the car had the red ring and wouldn't start - Porsche...
Can second the comment re frunk liner being tight - at one point I questioned whether Porsche had given me the wrong part as it was so difficult to install!
In the UK (at least), without the Connect subscription you won't be able to use OVO's Charge Anytime tariff as that is dependent on the car telling OVO how much electricity is being used to charge the car - this was a deal breaker for me as OVO was best for my needs.
I also agree the cost is...
First autumn/winter in my 4S, in the last few weeks when temps have fallen below 6/7 degrees C, my consumption has dropped from the previously average of around 2.2 now down to about 1.5 mi/kWh. I mainly do short trips to and from work etc. and on the 21 mission-e wheels... Thought the 1.5 was...
What noise are you hearing, is it intermittent or constant? Mine squeal when I brake at low speeds and when steering - the Porsche technicians couldn't "recreate" the issue so they have been useless so far which is annoying!
Hellooo after almost 6 months' ownership of my Taycan I eventually took the opportunity to take it out for some photos! Simply a stunning car - regardless of colour!
My subscription has just ran out - the only function which is almost a necessity (to me) is the "E-Control". Without this, my OVO smart charge tariff is useless as the car cannot communicate with the smart charge app... I can't even see from MyPorsche app what my car is doing, its charge levels...
Thanks, I doubt I'd get anything from them without a fight!
Latest update, the service bloke from the garage called me directly to "settle" meaning, he called to say it wasn't their fault and that the issue was pre-existing when I took it to them... Seems to think that the low brake fluid...
Thanks, yeah I've gone straight to their customer service department, they have been surprisingly helpful so far. Also spoken to my insurance provided legal advice as well but they won't be required until a court gets involved.
Got photos from the dealer of the damage too now so have sent...
So.... Story goes like this.
Back in May my MY20 4S did the whole warning message thing throwing up a variety of messages ranging from AWD failure to other random things. Traced it down to a hypersensitive brake (fluid?) sensor. Porsche could not fit me in for a brake fluid drain and change for...
I have a 4S PB+ on 21" Mission E wheels, with A/C on ECO pretty much all the time - city driving gets me approx. 170 miles at 85%. This seems low compared to some of the answers I've seen on this thread... Currently approx. 10,200 miles on the clock.
Thank you all for your lovely responses - the car is superb to drive and the other threads on this are true... You get a lot of people rubbernecking!
Thanks for your response - I am suspecting either a comms issue or a charge card issue. Thing is, I tried three different chargers at...
So I took delivery of my Porsche approved 4S on Friday - it's really nice to drive (I'd not driven a 4S prior, only a RWD).
It's nicely specced etc etc however, a couple of issues from day one!
Was driving back from Aberdeen and had planned to stop to charge at Osprey Haddington - only to find...
