For any of you that need a reference point - I called my local dealer today to see what they would give me on a trade for 2023 GTS with 13k miles , 151 sticker - they offered 95k and this is without any negotiation. I have no intention of getting rid of if - but do like to have an...
So, I know this has been discussed at length so I’ll keep it brief. A few opinions about my Taycan base loaner compared to my 2023 Sedan GTS (151k sticker) , I couldn’t find the sticker on base loaner but I think it’s new as it has 5k miles.
- The Michelin pilot sports give a noticeably softer...
I had a Tesla M3P before my GTS Taycan and I remember Tesla was able to give us a bit of a bump in HP AND a increase in range with a software upgrade. Anyone hopeful Porsche might be able to help us early adopters at all with something similar?
I don’t value the range enough along with Incremental improvements over the exotic style of the generation 1. In my opinion the further the styling migrates from the original mission e, these Gen 1 values might just flip 10+ years from now , the styling is just so fantastic, people might just...
So, How do these brokerage services get all these hard to get cars? Example, I can get a targa alllocation tomorrow if I’m willing to pay “their fee”. Is this grey market being fed by managers of Porsche dealerships who get their palm greased with cash? I suspect same as hard to get timepieces...
Hoping this might help some people who are looking to buy …
So, depreciation keeps coming up in conversation. It’s fair to say Taycan has a sharp depreciation curve. Let’s reverse engineer this for a second. How many would buy again knowing what they know now? And how many would have bought...
Once in a while I see carbon fiber hoods. Do any of the Porsche lineups have this as an option? Are some stickers/wraps? I really dig the way they look …
Was at luxury hotel and they offered a nice lineup of Mercedes cars to drive - I didn’t notice the EQ until it was time to leave but did happen to take a burn in the SL 63 AMG. Although I’d never buy one It’s a nice car, great engine growl with cracks and snaps. I must say , It’s easy to take...
Although I’ve never driven the Bentley GT before I always admired them - anyone here cross shop these 2 cars or have any input on difference of driving dynamics or general input contrasting these 2 cars?
Few days ago my GTS 2023 can’t connect to app, it says “no connection”’ - the car also has the 2 way arrows with slashes indicating this - I’ve reinstalled app and checked privacy mode - still nothing. Also did a PCM reset - Thoughts?
My accountant just called me. The VIN isn’t being accepted when entering. I had a binding contract in june , and took delivery dec 31. Last I noted, people who had binding contract before inflation reduction act were grandfathered. Anyone able to get the credit or care to elaborate?
Had my GTS 4 months now and tried launch control for first time today. Wow, very impressive. I didn’t expect the” kick” to be so hard! Very cool, great party trick…
Wife’s new RAnge Rover we just picked up got her wheels jacked at 215 in morning. She was one of 2, the other was a M5 BMW.
I watched the whole thing today in office as there were security cameras. Good thing I pay huge HOA fees to enforce security 🤦♂️
obviously extremely frustrating as this...
So, it’s been about a month since I’ve had my GTS sedan coming from a Tesla model 3 performance. I’ve had 911’s, Macans, boxsters, Cayennes….
Here’s some random thoughts ….
The Good:
The car is quality in every way. The fit, finish, comfort all extraordinary.
The handling for a large car is...
SInce my Tesla wheels were stolen last year I’ve been a bit concerned about leaving my car in a semi secure parking garage. I opted for the “locking wheel bolts” for 60$. Are these just a speed bump for thieves or are they legit?
Would the cigarette lighter power a dash cam if car wasn’t on? I’m looking for a quick an ez way to have some security in evening for my car in parking garage. Thanks
