If the service doesn't take too long, Porsche Assist might also offer to reimburse some taxi fees. I was flying 3 days after they towed mine for a heater issue. I didn't take the loaner but got ~200 euros of taxi reimbursed.
Interested in what you have because I just checked and my lightly optioned 23 RWD ST come up as ~9k € cheaper than the 25. (18-way heated/cooled, matrix LED, RAS, air, Bose, PTV, 4+1). The increased battery size and charging speed is nice but is it 9k nicer? Maybe but IMO it's certainly not 31k...
On top of what everyone already said, the battery has a significant environmental impact in an EV. For me, reducing my environmental footprint is important and I frankly never regretted not having the PB+. As for range anxiety, it's a pre-purchase issue. Once you get use to EVs and infra (and as...
Waiting for the cold to set in is a god way to get overwhelmed. Maybe they should have preemptively replaced some during summer instead. I am still waiting for a reply from my dealer, but i hope I won’t have to call the towing on this. Mine is parked in an unheated but concrete garage at night...
That is not what is stated in the CPO description. I understand that most x-points inspections are bullshit but if there is a windshield replacement history, the least they should do is to verify that it has been repaired properly. I would personally contact Porsche NA if you can’t get any...
Have you checked if the balancing weights are not touching the brake caliper? I never had that issue my taycan but I had very little clearance on my Cayenne winter wheels which caused some rubbing when the weights were glued centrally.
My Taycan turns a lot of heads(maybe a bit too much?) but it might because it's Mamba Green. People are conservative around and bright colored cars are sparse. No one bats a eye on a 911 unless it's a winged GT3.
The voltage you see is not the battery voltage but the voltage of the auxiliary system. When the car is not powered, this is basically the battery voltage (minus the voltage drop from current draw). While in operation, the voltage is regulated by the DC/DC converter pulling from the main battery...
I am in the clan that if someone hogging a limited charging infra while other could be using it is more disrespectful than unplugging someone else car. If you don't want your car to be unplugged, you should have the decency to either stay around or monitor the charge and get back swiftly when done.
I can tell you mine (bought in France) has 1 as the homelink country code. That being said, I never been able to make it work with my apartment garage door that so I velcroed a remote under the center console instead. This way I don't have to touch the screen to activate the opener. I really...
Basically means nothing. Knowing Porsche, PS+ might even have different setting for different model, I have yet tried a GTS but I bet it has less assistance.
I asked the very same question a few months ago but I didn't get much of an answer. I don't like PS+ either but I optioned my Taycab with RWS so I am stuck with it. The steering is still very precise at low speed but feels looser and less communicative, at least compared to non PS+ or other...
I would personally stick with the N rated tires. I have Pirelli winter on my RWD (PTV+), live on a mountain road with some stretch over 20% grade and I am very pleased with them. Almost everyone around here have 4x4 with BFGs and they seem to struggle more than I do.
I am in a very similar situation. I am lucky that I don't drive my car every day and get by most of the time walking and biking. When I got the car, I was pressuring my landlord to install an EVSE but after living with public charging for a month, I just said to him not to bother. There is a ton...
Notice it's on a separate ring? Car key don't always follow me, but the fob is. The personal one has a physical backup and the one for work, I will gladly annoy the hell out of IT if anything happen. Loosing these would be a decent PITA but not the end of the world.
