    Cayenne Vs Taycan

Mine also has 21-inch wheels, and even after lowering the tire pressure, it’s still not as comfortable as the Taycan. Over speed bumps, the Cayenne doesn’t absorb the impact as well, and the body reacts more sharply. On smooth roads it’s perfectly fine, but over rough surfaces the Cayenne...

    Cayenne Vs Taycan

I'm having the 2023 Cayenne S with RWS/PDDS for a few months and the ride quality is worst than my Taycan. I wonder if its the same air suspension tunned differently or Taycan has a better suspension because it rides way smoother.

Underbody Protection Panel damaged. Batteries and coolant lines need inspection. $72.5K replacement & labor cost. Dealership is Tom Wood in Indiana

If battery cooling is affected I assume the battery cells will throw an error instantly. I'm 100% sure there are Taycans with 3mm dents underneath and dealers didn't asked for 60k to replace the battery.

Looks fine, mine has scratches too and the dealer said if the car doesn't show any errors its no problem.

    Ferrari Luce EV

Its nothing more than an entry ticket to buy a limited edition. The Ferrari Luce is going to be a sales failure, whether it’s because of the sterile design or the extreme price, I guess we’ll never know.

Deliveries of Taycan year 2025 down (again) 22 per cent to 16,339 sold cars.

Low sales are expected, Porsche logo doesn't mean much in EV world where the options on a Taycan can cost as much as a Xiaomi EV.

    Cayenne EV PCM

I quite like the Cayenne EV but I'm waiting to see the iX5 and decide which one I will get. Efficiency will play a big part since my Taycan is pretty much unusable on long trips during this cold and snow in Europe.

    Awesome if true

Why it can't be true? Its not Elon making the battery.

PSCB: Slight scraping sound from front left wheel when in motion

Yeah is the same, I can only hear it at higher speed. The Porsche service guy didn't even noticed the noise but they said is probably because the brakes are new.

PSCB: Slight scraping sound from front left wheel when in motion

I've had same issue since I got my Taycan with new front rotors and pads, after 2 years the friction noise is still there, mine is intermitent like the rotor is bent and touching the caliper when spinning fast.

Porsche 3rd Quarter 2025 Financial Results

1st, Porsche must stop charging money for silly options that you find on half priced cars, this model doesn't work anymore and its damaging their reputation. The regular cars are almost boring and way overpriced. A nice spec Macan 4S is at 135k when a similar sized, fully specced iX3 50 which...

“Porsche Cayenne Electric gets radical wireless charging tech”

I mean, what's the advantage of the wireless charger? Aside of having your car fully charged every day but that's a bad thing, even keeping it 80% SoC all the time may not be ok.

Moving on to a 2026 GTS

I would like to have more range in my 2021 Turbo but its cheaper to buy another car for not so often long trips than paying $50k more for J1.2.

    Brake disc outer circumference rusting

Most EVs have damaged brake discs because debris get between the discs and pads. My rear looks really ugly because of stone scratches.

Noisy front fans and warranty question

My local porsche service center replaced the fans on warranty last year but initially they said its not covered so I showed them the TSB and changed their mind.

Thinking of going back to ICE / hybrid - am I mad.

I'm getting an RSQ8 soon because its more practical on long trips but I'll keep the Taycan for short trips although for that even a Renault 5 is enough.

The Chinese Xiaomi SU7, which mimics Porsche’s Taycan.

The next gen Taycan will be critical for the Porsche EV's, if its not flawless from all aspects then they're f*cked. I mean you can't ask 120k for an EV when there's a better one for half the price, no matter the badge. But anyway I don't see how the US and German car companies will be able to...

J1.2 battery charging looks much less lossy than my J1

Maybe but I don't know a Porsche car that had 30% increase in efficiency/performance during a facelift. As @daveo4EV said, Porsche isn't really focused on this whole EV thing.
