It's definitely worth the wait! I can't tell you how much pleasure I've had from my 4S even though - with lockdown - its only driven 500 miles so far in 12 weeks!
Thanks! Keep your eye out, we'll be out on the Wirral again this weekend! Funny you saw it as being black, it's actually volcano grey but it does look very dark in some lights. Great colour though.
Hi JayD
It was my wife you saw today! She was driving to my mum's care home to drop some things off for her. Not a very exciting trip but we try to make the most of it and at least use the Taycan to get there!
On Monday I had my first 'road trip' when I drove 180 miles to visit a friend for a...
All going well thanks!
Had the Andersen charger fitted today - working well at 7.2kwh. Looks good too.
Car is wonderful. No more battery problems after the one I recorded on @louv post a couple of weeks ago. Just wish I was getting more chance to drive!
I'd been reading this thread with interest over the last few days and then yesterday afternoon I got the keys and went out to the car and ......
...... couldn't unlock the doors and the 12V battery was flat!
Hadn't been charging it or connecting it to the app (or at least not for a couple of...
I can only comment on the comfort seats in my Taycan 4S but they are both wonderfully comfortable and quite firm and sporty. Perfect balance in my view
It's cramped but perfectly doable. I'd happily sit in it for an hour or so. Remember I'm 6' 5 so most people will have more space. But it's not the same experience as my Range Rover!
I'm no software expert but I don't think I'll be starting any update while the virus (human not IT) is still causing lockdown. If for any reason the update didn't work and caused a problem with the existing setup I'd have nowhere to go to get it fixed...
Congratulations Dee! Car looks fabulous in white with the black/chalk beige interior. It's the same I have in my Volcano grey 4S (I've posted a few more interior shots today which you'll see on another thread). I wasn't sure if the beige was going to be the right choice and I have to say I'm...
Not much new to report on this week's range today. I've only driven short 'essential' trips. Total about 130 miles and have used about 55% charge, temp about 10-12c, and mainly in normal mode but with a few launch control starts (madness!). In sport and sport plus, the throttle response is a bit...
A few more interior pics for those who've asked. The colour is chalk beige. Goes really well with the volcano grey. Not sure who the upside down guy is in the back but he's 6 foot 5 and seems to fit ok in there!
In the UK it works fine to charge the car from a standard 13amp fused house socket - so mine spent the night plugged into a spare socket in the garage. It took 13 hours to add 30% of charge from 65 to 95% but I wasn't going anywhere so that's fine for now! I guess I'll get my Andersen charger...
The good news is I've not done many miles, given what's going on. So the mobile connect interface told me I'd be fully charged again by 0730 after starting it up at 68% at 1730. If I do that every couple of days it'll be easy to stay charged for now
