That makes sense and would be a great solution, unfortunately though it does not appear to work.
Can anyone verify that seat memory settings include the heating bias? Then I will assume I'm doing something wrong somewhere...
I've found the base of the seat gets warmer than the backrest. There's an adjustment for that under comfort settings but it doesn't get saved so always reverts to previous "0". I have the seat memory function but obviously this is a separate adjustment. I'm not exactly going to break down in...
So we have a similar setup, wife has Volvo plug-in XC-40. She charges it every day under my Porsche profile on the Ohme Pro charger - it just fills the battery to 100% then stops charging. I charge the Taycan once a week so we just juggle them around. We appear to benefit from the Charge-Anytime...
I test drove the RR Sport Hybrid, the JLR sales guy saw me step out of the Taycan and shook his head. For me it was a nice place to sit but once it starts moving uh oh! You're sailing a ship, rolling horribly when turning, diving under braking etc it's unpleasant, even under "Dynamic" settings...
My heater failed Monday, Porsche told me to call Porsche Assist, they arranged a car for me to be at my dealer. Dropped the car off the same day, got a Macan which was good then a message to say all done Wednesday. Appreciate some of you having worse experiences that that but I'm very impressed...
It's live in the UK, need to update Porsche App and reboot for it to show up in CarPlay. Anyone worked out how to add Spotify yet??
Nice to have some new features though!
Just done my annual call with Admiral, MultiCover policy for 2 cars and the house was £1500 last year now £3k. Added 3 points that the wife picked up and that added another £450...
So, she now can't drive the Taycan, increased the voluntary excess to £250 on both cars and down to £2k...
I created the Night Sabre range of sensor lights, happy to support forum member rates if you're interested - 30% off MSRP. Very discreet when installed, 12v, PoE and a wifi connected smart versions you can turn on with Alexa. www.smartsabre.com :)
OVO told me to delete the Charge Anytime app as it caused issues with their billing. Now I rely on the Ohme app which doesn't support 2 cars. So I just leave it set to the Porsche and her Volvo fills up just fine. However I'm now not sure if I'm being credited the correct amount each month as...
The seat heating works fine if you turn it on from the car itself, but no matter what I try it will no longer turn on from the pre-heat function on the app. The cabin heating is working ok when set from the app, but the seat's not on, even though it's shown as being on!
Logged off the app...
OK for those that care I did find out how to manage this level of data...
Under Settings > Privacy & Connect> you can go into each data category and set it as active or inactive.
There is an entry for speed warnings... as well as a lot of other privacy and data related areas - worth checking :)
I'm not sure she's monitoring exactly, but must have looked at the app and noticed the speed alert function - I had set it at XXXmph so maybe my fault... Deleted it now so lets see what happens next time
Hmm it seems that once your partner has the app and user access they can monitor a lot, I'm more worried about her seeing me speeding that getting caught by the cops! 😂
So we were having a tricky discussion about me getting flashed by a camera in her new car and me cussing about only doing 63mph when she dropped the nugget that I had done over XXXmph 3 time one day last week!
Now I know you can set up speed alerts in the app, and she also has the Porsche...
