Hi I use summer and wintertyres. Having done two summer seasons and approx 18000km they are not having a lot of wear / tread left. Im only expecting around 25000 km.
What are your experiences?

Because we had a sudden snowfall shortly after I took delivery I wen’t out in my driveway and fitted the winterset. I had purchades the 20” Turbo wheel set with goodyear winter tyres (original porsche parts). I read the manual (important info on jacking and securing the suspension in there)...
Man it’s really a tough one to read and I’m only at “B” (page 60-ish). Every chapter is full of caution (cover my a** text) which just makes it so hard to read. But every now and then smal pieces of relevant information is in there - how the lane assist actually works and so forth..
But how...
1st world problem here. It seem my son whos about to turn 17 and who will be able to take a driving license, (and then being allowed to drive with an adult +25 yrs and holding a license in the front passenger seat until he will turn 18 and drive on his own), will start off his driving in a...

The car - a pretty basic 4S...

I was considering the brake upgrade for my build on the 4S. According to Porsche the regenbraking (up to 265kW) is expected to handle 90% of all braking.. why the upgrade then? Well for me it was due to the coating on the upgraded set which is more ressistant to corrossion. But here is a plot...
My dealer was raving about the neodyme option. I stayed with the standard (black) and haven't regretted. Took some photos of both for you guys to check out.
edit: Take note the “black” accents are not standard but the GT5 option - Accent package Darksilver!!
Took a couple of photos of the standard paint option on the side view mirrors (the blue) and the upgraded option with black paint etc (the white). I expect to change my build to have the black window surrounds after seeing both options today, but that makes the upgraded mirror an option I have...
