Yeah, I wanted Porsche dash cam and didn't mind, but then doesn't feel right without rear camera. I bought DR770X-2CH front and rear and 48hours battery - £748.00. Feeds on my 12V when I am driving and that is enough to power for 2 days on parking. Hardwiring would void your warranty unless...
I wanted Porsche dash cam retrospectively, but as I didn't spec it, the dealership said that only front cam can be done and will cost £950. I had a look at blackvue and front&rear, and a battery for parking mode, was like £750 total. So I got blackvue, installed it myself (not hardwired tho) and...
yeah I have occasional noise from break pedal but only few odd occasions a week. I am coming to terms that this car is noisy with all the computerised system. But good news, I am going to Porsche technician tomorrow to give them a ride for reassurance all is good.
Nice post!
I am in my week three and love this car. Personally what I love, is driving experience and comfort. I must admit however that it is noisy but depends on the road, I can feel all bumps but this is a sport car so makes sense. UK around Manchester is full of construction so this is why...
Make sure no schedule and no profile overdue from the car. Then set up zappi to charge only eco+ with no boost scheduled (they usually scheduled overnight).
Do
Do you have a charging point at home? I have my own charging point and it works the magic. Plus reduced tariff overnight charging, thus 220 miles charge will cost me 8 GBP =)
OMG, I hope you get at least a refund from them. Anything more would cost more headache for you. Lesson for all of us, wait for Porsche inspection and approved garage. Currently I have a small noise, when 50mph, getting this checked at Porsche as many complained before on different funny noises...
I have only 250miles and can hear howling and rattling when 50m+ speed. Plus occasional clicks when braking and parking haha going to dealership for PCM masterclass and also for a technician to have a look in a few weeks. As long as it’s normal, I’m ok with occasional noises and rattles. So far...
I got a bag with ceramic cover certificate, leather cover for manual, ceramic Porsche mug and two keys with leather Porsche tags, one red and one black. Also blanket reveal and PCM explanations and set up. It was also 85% charged and that's it =) Also had coffee, bottle of water and chit chat...
Got mine curbed today :/ thankfully have tire&alloy protection. Gonna post after later. I guess 21’ wheels common problem haha
PS I prefer white rim ;)
Guess what. I got my Porsche yesterday =) Driving is exciting but also stressful atm. I am parking well, never curbed before, but today going from multi-storey work parking, exit gates had a small curb. Surrounding view didn't pick up and I felt something is wrong, but decided reversing will...
Hmm, I guess any part that can move has a potential to make noises, so probably many. But that is not the point, the point is how irritating that noise is to an individual. I must admin I am indifferent to that noise and I am glad Porsche reassured that it is ok.
I am in no way advocating for...
The more I listen, the more I am getting convinced that everything sequels a bit if you listen too hard haha at least rest assured it doesn't mean that car is faulty =)
Oh right, fair play, I have double checked but it is still 999 unfortunately. My dealership is pretty tough tbh, I got nothing complimentary and I know people do get stuff free of charge, I guess I have to man up. Looking forward to charge my car for free at Porsche hahaha
Ahahaha it is better be a really silky woman legs for £999 ahaha I think my price includes leather treatment too, not sure, its like G-Tech or something...
