This started yesterday for me as well. The app says privacy mode is engaged. Went out to the car to check and it wasn’t in privacy mode… same thing happened again just now.
I’ve had this happen to me on multiple occasions when my 2022 4S CT has been parked in the rain over night. It simply does not engage the physical brakes the first few times. And since regen isn’t activated at cold start… scary…Absolutely mind blowing. If you break hard a few times you can feel...
My 2022 CT was clicking like this during the first couple of weeks as well but it has since disappeared. My original 2020 Taycan didn´t click no matter age.
I've charged during rain and snow for over 2 years now. No issues what so ever.
What happens if it starts raining after the fact that you plugged it in and left? You would never be able to charge the car if you lived in UK... ;)
There is a "water jet" that cleans it. Put it in reverse and an icon should appear in the instrument cluster just above the reverse cam icon on your photo above.
Ah, noticed it's a CT. Then push and hold the stalk forward to engage the rear wiper and the camera cleaner thingie.
What a total disappointment. First person to report it? At least in Sweden (My dealer anyway) they inform new customers upon delivery of the fault and teach you how to remedy it whilst waiting for a fix.
This is so badly handled by Porsche centrally. Dealers denying the problem or worst case...
Regarding charging speeds. We went on a long trip during the holidays and of course stopped to charge on the way.
In one of the locations (southern Sweden) there were people from Ionity working on expanding the charging bays and of course we started talking.
He mentioned that temperature is...
Traded our 2020 4S for a 2022 CT4S a couple of days ago and they (Porsche Danderyd in Sweden) told me there is a campaign coming with replacement of the sensor in all affected cars. (there are certain batches of the old sensor that are faulty and not all of them).
Prior the the info about the...
It's 2022 for gods sake. I want it to drive as a true drivers car (as it does) AND have a functional and UPDATED PCM. It shouldn't have to be one or the other. We certainly pay to have both Soul and the Brains in these cars.
Those symbols indicate that the window is open in some degree. However, I get that icon almost everyday and then it goes away when app has connected to the servers. Two different cars and the same poor functionality in the App.
If they actually stay after 30 seconds or so that means you left...
Experienced this first hand today driving home in the new CT4S and not remembering that new taycans use the friction brakes exclusively for a couple of hundred miles to bed the brakes. Dramatic difference in stopping power compared to my 20204S.
When both regen and friction is used... Omg this...
Picked up my CT4S today and was told Porsche will issue a campaign with replacement of the faulty sensor. New part is available and had been installed on 5 cars with success by my dealer. Porsche told them to wait for the campaign and not replace any more sensors out of campaign.
The double...
Those are only soft alarms to alert you if someone is driving too fast or too far away. For example service or valet. It's misleading to call it alarms. It's called valet mode on some brands.
Do you still need to double click if disabled in the PCM? I'm sure I will forget to double click...
Our CT was delivered today and I'm not sure if this one has the problem. Don't want to find out in the middle of the night.
I was at my dealership earlier today and they also confirmed that a new sensor is available to replace the ones that are malfunctioning. According to my sales rep not all CTs are affected but many. Remains to be seen if my CT4S delivered next week is one of them. :)
It has never done this for me. Leaving me a bit disappointed in Innodrive to be honest. Didn't spec it on the coming CT4S because of actual value delivered based on my experience on the current Taycan 4S.
My CT4S goes into production within a week or so and I've been worried about the Sport Turismo coming out just after my lock date and how that would compare to my CT.
Having seen it today it's definetly a great looking car but I don't like some of the styling of the GTS so I'm happy with my...
