There is a UK recall at moment - my 2003 Turbo CT goes in at end of next month for replacement heater unit - nothing wrong with mine at moment so guess they are just working through the outstanding ones bit by bit.
If you are intending keeping the car for an extended period it is well worth getting a full PPF including glass roof.
If you are only keeping for a couple of years then not worth it.
I had the glass roof done with PPF at the same time as everything else when new except windshield and have had a few stones bounce off roof (England has loads of potholes which spew stones over the roads at momment) without any damage whether it was saved by PPF can’t be sure but I think it is...
Had a puncture due to pothole last weekend. Raining so could not tell if pothole or puddle. Porsche assist managed to use a rubber repair at 1.00 am !! Potholes and 21 low profiles don’t like one another.
After nearly one year and 7000 miles my discs have hardly any wear:
Front Pad Depth (mm): 10mm Comments: As new
Rear Pad Depth (mm): 8mm Comments: 10% worn
Yes - leaving optimised charging ticked allows profile to work perfectly just charging to target and not going beyond. A very simple work around - was suggested to me by Porsche Tonbridge when I collected car so obviously a well known fix.
This has been gone through before. The work around is to keep optimised charging ticked and then the charge will stop at whatever you set it to and not go beyond without any need for timers.
