Where is everyone getting their insurance from these days in the UK? I'm almost 50 and struggling to get a quote under £1000, and a lot of insurance companies won't even entertain my business (Direct Line). Clean license held since I was 17, I did have a car stolen a few years ago but have owned...
Interested to read this, as I've got a sensor go faulty myself (same sensor in the other side of the bumper). It looks like there is a stonechip on it which I think is causing the problems.
I could take the car into Porsche but it's nearly an hour away, they want to keep it a few days and can't...
The PCM doesn't know anything about the car colour/wheels, the app gets the metadata from the VIN, so theoretically could be changed by Porsche. But good luck getting it done, when I had an i3, I had a special edition one and the car showed up as a 4 series under a cover in the BMW Connect app...
Having owned a Tesla and Polestar 2, I'm really put off OTA updates. With the Tesla, one update caused a fault which meant the alarm would go off, plus another ruined the auto lights. With the Polestar, where do I start! My wife and kids got locked out after one update and luckily I was only 5...

Rears:

Part number 9J1601025BD
Taycan GTS 21" RS Spyder wheels
The rears I got were originally satin black, and the fronts were black gloss diamond cut.
The place I got them refinished/satin powder coated is in the UK, a local...
I wasn't keen on the wheels on my 4S so have been buying the odd GTS wheel here and there, once I had 4 I got them all refinished in satin aurum gold with a diamond cut face. Pretty pleased with the results on my gentian blue car!
Porsche put 'diesel' and 'electric' badges on cars, I guess because it's different to the normal petrol cars they are more known for selling. It's usually not 'people' putting them on, it's the manufacturer.
I've had quite a few EVs (i3, Polestar 2, Model 3, Q4 Etron) and quite a few near misses from people not looking/hearing my cars, especially on the school run. So I tend to use it in built up areas.
Are you sure they were talking about a Taycan? I fitted one last week and loads of people here have, and it's just plug and play.
The only issue I had is that I found it hard to pop the middle section back on, and there is still a slight gap if you look closely behind the mirror. I need to pop...
Can you not retrofit the 22 kW charger and plug and charge now anyway?
