Well, I asked Porsche about center locking hubs and they said it would be very unlikely since the Taycan is really not meant for the Track as such........
Are they really center-locking or center-locking imitation center caps .......
Either is fine for me looks great! If caps then I hope to do the same on my Rotiform wheels when they arrive.
Well I get the same mileage as I get on my 20” winter wheels and tires..... so that’s pretty good but obviously not as good as 20” with summer tires. ...... they are not super light but they are HRE wheels so they are as light as possible lighter than the Porsche 21” with carbon slats...... :-)
Sorry for not having answered back in June..... my wheels are HRE classic 935 wheels and since they are three piece wheels they can give each part it’s own color. However, HRE wheels are not cheap...... :-( they were about US$2200 a piece.......
I designed the strips myself in illustrator and gave the file to my local striping customization shop here in the Lausanne area..... if you want the file I can send it to you.....
Already bought those.... they do not fit due to seize ano attachment differences.... so in the end I pried loose the Porsche emblème and glued it to the HRE center cap............ which works great from afar but is not as finished close up.........
..... Which center cap with crest would that be....? I also have HRE wheels and would love to switch out the HRE center for a Porsche center cap.... :-)
You should!!! :-)
PS the mission e striping was your idea back when and I already then said I would copy you on that. Ended up preceding you but all the same. THANKS for the idea!! :-)
