Though I am sure it's a tasteful badge, No electric badge for me.
  1. Cleaner look
  2. Live in SF Bay Area and every 3rd car is electric.
  3. When driving I think that it's obvious. Also have PESS (Porsche Electric Sport Sound)

I think it's neat, but didn't opt for it. Maybe if I could have gotten it in black. I thought about removing the model badge too, but decided to leave it just in case people wanted to investigate what car dusted them.

Mine has them, I like them in black. They match the rear badges in black and the model on the doors also in black. For those who want them in black, I suppose you can order the Turbo S electric badges from your parts department.

In the UK you can't get a black electric badge for sure. If you chose the black badge option then you can't have the electric badge.

That's interesting you have it and it looks great against red!

He has it because it’s a Turbo S!

I seem to be the only one who has spec’d the side electric badging. Looking at many videos and photos on instagram and on here I have not yet seen another.

I went for it as proud of owning a game changing car, people see “electric” and the green credentials become evident. So far the car has had all positive reactions and many people come up to me and say “wow that’s the electric porsche”. Rather than ask me what it is.

I also went for it to make it obvious it’s not a Panamera :D

So why did you or didn’t you opt for it?

I also don't have badges on my Porsches. it was a very sad day when I saw that Bentley put BENTLEY on the rear of their cars. -- I also don't like labels on the outside of my clothes.

The only reason to have this is to remind you not to pull the trigger when the diesel nozzle is jammed in the side.
In which case you shouldn't be allowed near a Porsche in the first place...

I won't be having them for sure.

Agreed. Clean look for me - ordered mine model designation delete as well.

Is model designation for the clean look or a sense of modesty? It’s never appealed to me because I actually love seeing other P-cars and their model designation. I always want to know exactly what I’m looking at (so I know what to put on my wish list ?).

CLEAN. I hate badging especially excessive badging. (i.e. Subaru) I know what I'm looking at when I see other P-cars on the road. I can deduce by bake caliper color, body styles, trim, etc... I've been called the "savant of everything automotive"

1. People who know - don't need anything more
2. Enthusiasts who don't know - can inquire/search
3. People who don't care - don't need to know

Makes sense. I’m with you on the excessive badging. Then again, I’d wrap a 911 in Martini Racing livery ?‍♂
