I seem to be the only one who has spec’d the side electric badging. Looking at many videos and photos on instagram and on here I have not yet seen another.

I went for it as proud of owning a game changing car, people see “electric” and the green credentials become evident. So far the car has had all positive reactions and many people come up to me and say “wow that’s the electric porsche”. Rather than ask me what it is.

I also went for it to make it obvious it’s not a Panamera :D

So why did you or didn’t you opt for it?

I paid for a grand total of zero extra badging options. None of them really appealed to me. If I'm really concerned about whether other people know my car is electric, I'll keep using vanity plates.

The electric logo is free, at least in the US. FWIW.

But I agree that if anything I want less badges.

I went for the model delete, so I wanted less badging. Also I plan to use a vanity plate that should convey the EV message.

I have Dolomite Silver with the red interior and actually went with the model badge at the bottom of the door in red so with the electric one it would have been too much

I went for the badge, I think it looks quite good in the flesh. My thinking was get the free badge and if I don’t like it just take it off

Would have had it but it’s not possible with Model delete. Either both or none, so I went for none

I wanted the black badges but could not due to wanting the electric badge. I’ll now be having all my badges done in black when my car goes in for mods this week.

I also added the electric badge to my 4S simply to make a statement about electrification. And I guess that is also Porsche’s Intention as it is one of the very rare FREE options.
However with a dolomite silver exterior it is not that prominent. I would have liked To have the black badges but I understand they are only available for the Turbo S.
I am still considering having the silver badges replaced after delivery with black-gloss ones...

I wanted the Taycan Turbo S in carbon to be honest but could only get black.

hopefully they will do it aftermarket.

No electric badge for me, I don’t dislike them, just preferred the clean look
