This shouldn’t be an option. This is ridiculous. It’s like saying 4th wheel is an option or rear bumper is an option. WTF… I Love Porsche but hate their business motto.

I think that a felt tray might be good even for mine. I like the idea of reaching down, just grabbing the entire tray, getting what you need, and then putting the entire tray back rather than fishing blind. Even better if it had a lid . . . Hmmmmm. "Hold my beer . . . "

Meh. I knew It was available and didn’t order it. Part of the reason was because it came with a tray in the back that I really didn’t want. This option seems better for me. I ordered one. We’ll see how it fits on Wednesday.

It was an option for you. I have 2022 Taycan also. It’s $280 separately but it might be included in a bigger option packages. I didn’t have it so I had to come up with the solution.

Like others have noted, I "think" it comes standard with the cross turismo, because I don't think I selected an option for this.

I bought a leather valet tray and fitted under the center console empty area. Fit perfectly so I can place my sunglasses and lose items there now. Also made a video about it.

Same here. If you opted for the middle rear seat (2+1), this option puts a tray where the middle passenger's feet would be which is problematic.

I also bought this from Amazon based on your recommendation. The fit is a bit snug but that's probably a good thing. I think this will be very handy, thank you.

I do think some clever person could design an even more useful shelved compartment to go in this interesting space on the Taycan between the two front passengers. I'd certainly pay up for such if it became available.

Given the recent discussions about mounting a phone, I have to wonder if such custom shelving couldn't also offer place to attach one or two (driver and passenger) magsafe stalk or pad?
