Put car into range mode, Inno drive used, AC set on ECO. Normally a 2 hour trip took be 4 hours due to traffic on freeway. Bottom line the car performed amazing. Inno drive worked great all i had to do is keep hands on steering wheel, car did the rest. Regenerative braking did boost battery by 4%. Outside temp avg 80 degrees no wind

Average speed of 36.5 mph vs normal 73. That sounds painful.
InnoDrive looks like the star of this trip.

You might have also explained the amazing Edmunds test of 323 miles combined city and highway (60/40).

You travelled 146 miles on 38% battery.
So on 60% battery you would travel 230.5 miles
Assume you can go 290 miles on a full battery at 80 degrees
So on 40% battery you would go 116 miles
Add the two and you travelled 346.5 miles combined city highway.

Everything you state is correct. The Inno drive is amazing, it ensures correct speed, basically drives car for me. Much more efficient vs me accelerating- stopping etc. i think it greatly enhances range thru efficiencies

Is this just calculated as 146 miles using 38% = 384 miles using 100%? (146/.38)?

/I was told there would be no math.

Just a little bit of fun.
Closer to arithmetic than math

((146/38)*60)+(290*.4) = 346.5

There is very little city driving test data available for the Taycan, but these results provided an opportunity to "test" the Edmunds results. They are not totally out to lunch.

The Taycan is both a pretty good city driver and highway driver, provided you don't drive it like a Porsche.

I did not drive it like a Porsche, in fact the innodrive did all the driving lol
However i did keep my hands on the wheel unlike the tesla driver and passenger who both sat in the back seat as the car hit a tree at 80 miles per hr

However moronic their stupidity, it is a gruesome way to go...
I agree with you, I don't wish such a thing happen to anyone however those people put in a lot of effort to defeat the safety features of the car.
for example the car will automatically shut down when the pressure of the driver's body is not detected in the seat, so the must have weighted the seat in order for the car to run without a body in the driver's seat.
play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Indeed, terrible price to pay though. Fortunately no innocent bystanders got killed.

That does not appear true.

Here is an example:

Here is longer explanation.

You just need to have the seatbelt buckled. The weight sensor is not linked to autopilot.
(starting at around 2:20)

Correct. All you really need is a counter weight zip ties to the steering wheel. I know - I've tested in in my 3.

assuming that your take is correct the fact remains that they defeated that safety, buckled the seatbelt and had the car accelerate. they and not the car are culpable for their deaths.
