Target price range for Taycan Euro (Germany) prices:

-Basis: 80-90k
-4S: 100-120k
-Top: 140-150k
-Top S: 160-180k

These data was just Targets and it's not final/official.

Kind regards

You can't take these prices 1:1 to the US market...and yes the Top S will be at short sprints as fast as an GT2RS.

Yes, there are 19% TAX on cars in Germany. But these ranges are just the Price Targets from the Management. The final Price is still in discussion from what I've heard.

Status quo on tyre dimensions is (as far as I know):
-2 different 19"
-3 different 20"
-2 different 21" (Taycan exclusive & Mission E tyres)

So the 19% "tax" is the VAT in Germany?

If we say EUR 85.000 for the base model. Including 19% german VAT. Then that's a price in Norway of approx NOK 690.000.

The base model Audi e-Tron here is NOK 650.000. Both being in the VAG group I bet they will put a markant gap to the Taycan base model. So I guess at least 750.000 for the base model Taycan.

A long range Tesla Model S is NOK 790.000
A performance Tesla Model S is NOK 870.000

Just guesstimates of course. But still it looks like the base model Taycan up here will actually cost less than a Tesla Model S.

We have no taxes on EVs, not even VAT. OTOH we have the world's second highest taxes on combustion engine powered cars. The bigger the engine the more tax. Plus tax on weight of the car. Plus 25% VAT. For instance a new Audi A6 Avant sport 45 TDI quattro tiptronic (no extras selected) cost NOK 770.000. So even quite a lot cheaper than that...

Here a Panamera starts at NOK 1.300.000
A full spec'ed Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo sets you back NOK 2.600.000

A Macan starts at NOK 992.000.

The Cayman starts at NOK 855.000.

So the Taycan will in Norway be A LOT cheaper than the Macan (even the Cayman), not between the Macan and Panamera like in other "more normal" countries.

The rEVolution in Norway has absolutely nothing to do with us drivers being environmentally conscious - it's because EVs are on a permanent black friday sale while the combustion cars are all taxed down like luxury items.

In March this year EVs stood for 58% of all new cars sold.

Even though hybrids are not in effect more environmently friendly than a 100% combustion car they also have less tax since the politicians believe that they are better for the environment. Hence consumers can buy a hybrid at a lower price and with more power. So those are also selling well here.

**************************************

Isn't the Mission E on 24" rims?

More specs on the 21" tires please?

With a sporty driving style I'd guess you'd use up a set of summer tires every season :D Very heavy car with a lot of grunt...

When looking at the link for the presentation tomorrow you can clearly see the number 131000 which makes no sense ... otherwise it‘s the price in EUR maybe ... maybe cheaper than expected?
That was the expectation ?
