I had watch this a few days ago and considered posting but got tied up. Ask a PPF specialist what panels need PPF and guess what the answer is??? :CWL:
But a good watch for sure if you are considering PPF.

I’m going to see my guy next week and will see if he can justify doing less than the full car.

FWIW, I am getting PPF done at a reputable XPEL installer in LA after I pick up my car at PEC LA. He felt that while it made sense to get PPF on the front-facing parts of the car, it was an inordinate expense to get the full car done. He actually talked me out of getting full-car PPF. This is Polished Protection in Signal Hill, which a friend recommended and which has a 5-star rating on Yelp with 244 reviews, so they probably aren't complete idiots. We'll see how I feel about their work on October 5 when I get the car back from them...

I will say that Premier is a very reputable shop here in the Bay Area. Lots of my friends won't deal with anyone else. I did comment on the linked video because he's mistaken about how air exits the air curtains on the side of the car, as the airflow is actually directed around the outside of the front wheels, not through the rear vents (which as others have noted aren't even open vents if you opt for the power charge port covers).
