I have had my 4S for a few weeks now, and from day one I have been noticing a rubbing noise coming from the O/S/F wheel first thing in the morning. Eventually it will subside when the break pads/disc warms up but not disappear completely. I am having this occur all of the time no matter what distance I travel ( up to 290 miles ). The noise is identical to when the vehicle is washed and then driven a few hours afterwards when a film of rust developes on the disc. Thing is, the noise is very noticeable every day and I have only washed the car a couple of times !
The local Porsche dealer has had the car in twice now and is not able identify a issue with either the brake disc (not coated or ceramic) or brake pads, even though on the way home from the dealership each time there it sounds as though they have fixed it.
I am very disappointed/upset that this is an issue with a £100k plus car and seemingly they don't have a fix for this.
Has anyone else had this problem ?
Any ideas, suggestions ,recommendations or fixes greatly appreciated !
Cheers,
Rob
